I guess it is ok
I did find it difficult to get the blood from the fingertips. Three fingers were sore for days. It came back negative. I not sure, cause I feel this would explain the symptoms I have had for years and years on and off. So I am not sure.

Great service
I made a mistake mailing back the sample, by dropping it off at the post office instead of UPS, so I contacted imaware to find out if my sample would be lost forever (surely I couldn’t be the only one who has made such an error)… and they went above an beyond by sending me another test kit, at no cost!As for the test itself, it is very simple and painless, and quickly processed by the lab; I had my results 2 days after they received my sample. I’m assuming they’re accurate as well.

Results different from local lab…
My mother and I have celiac disease. I bought this test for my sister because she has digestive symptoms and is iron and B12 deficient. The test came back negative, and told her she still is at risk due to her family history.I took the monitoring version of this test, and it suggested my celiac is well under control. All values were in the normal range. However, when I get my bloodwork done at a lab, on the same day, my bloodwork is clearly still out of range, which is consistent with my persistent symptoms. So, since my personal experience was inconsistent with a local lab, should I recommend my sister get new bloodwork? It’s frustrating to not be able to trust a test.

So convenient
I really loved the convenience of Imaware. I do have a few gripes. The lancets didn't Pentwater enough or something because I had to use both, only getting 1 drop of blood from each! I had to use some lancets on hand to get the amount they required. Also, tracking back to the lab was nonexistent but I blame that more on USPS. I had to call to ensure it was received. Lastly, my results came in a day late (day 8). However, throughout it all, customer srvc was WONDERFUL...even offered a refund if they weren't able to get me my results at the end of day 8. But they did and the reports were very easy to read. I would buy another test from them.

Lancets didn’t work efficiently
I haven’t gotten my results yet, so writing solely on the kit and process. The kit arrived quickly, it was a simple registering process, and the sample itself was as easy as could be. My complaint would mirror the other reviews: the lancets were junk. Total junk. Did not pierce enough to get but one drop from each lancet (4-5 drops needed total). My husband had to use a sterile scalpel to cut my finger enough to give the correct sample.

Take a sample at home, send it off to a lab, results in a few days
Get the kit, take a sample, send it off and get results back online in a few days. Product did what it was supposed to do. The only negative aspect for me was the actual lance; I think it actually needs to go just slightly deeper. They give you two lances just in case; my first try was ring finger and I got very little blood from it. Tried again with middle and got enough for sample but it took a lot of squeezing. (Don't worry, it hurts less than you think!) I don't have heavy callouses. I'm comparing this to a lance I just did for a different test which immediately gave me several drops of blood without much effort. That being said, kit did what it was supposed to and I'd recommend it. Remember, YOU MUST BE EATING GLUTEN AT LEAST SEVERAL WEEKS BEFORE TEST.

Worth every penny
This test gave me fast, detailed, credible results. It was very much worth the cost. I was impressed with nearly everything about the experience. The only reason I'm giving the product four stars is that I found drawing the blood slow and awkward. My circulation may have been partially responsible for slow flow, but I had washed my hands in hot water until they were glowing pink. The physical awkwardness is something that future versions of the product can improve. A stand to hold the collection tube is a possibility. Bottom line, though, this product/service is excellent, and I'd recommend it to anyone wondering whether or not they have celiac disease.

Easy and convenient
Easy to use and super convenient. I’m not sure why there are so many complaints about the lancet because it definitely drew enough blood to fill above the line.
