Mighty Max BatteryML15-12 12V 15AH F2 UPS Backup Battery Replaces Vision HP12-65W, HP12-65W

This is my 1st time buying AGM batteries, but it probably won't be my last. I will update this review as I have a chance to use these. I bought them to build a 12V/5V battery box to power my telescope and other doo-dads in the field for a few hours at a time. Both showed 12.99V on a multimeter when I got them. I've been topping them off with a Noco Genius 10, but it went into a maintenance cycle almost immediately, so it looks like they were fully charged which is a good sign.11/27/20: been using my battery box regularly to power my telescope and its many accessories. These batteries haven't missed a beat. I keep them on the maintenance charger when not in use, as you should with any lead-based battery. I've been able to run my whole rig off these for multiple sessions between recharging. (I have 2, 15-Ah batteries wired in parallel in a battery box with a buck/boost converter)

Works well and appears to be of good quality. Capacity rating appears to be accurate. I've gone through at least 20 cycles now without any issues. This battery has extremely long life compared to the 7 or so AHr rating of the slightly skinnier version of this battery type from various manufacturers.Update 4/25/2016: I ordered a 2nd battery since I liked the first one so much. The 2nd one came in cracked on the bottom with battery electrolyte leaking out. I submitted a review and they approved a replacement after requesting that I send them some images of the damage. There was not enough padding on the bottom of the battery in the shipping box. They said they were going to take measures in manufacturing to prevent this from happening again in the future. They sent a replacement and told me to dispose of the existing battery instead of sending it back to them. It was easy and pleasant working with their support people. I would buy again.

I have used these batteries in my zappy scooters in the past, and the Mighty Max has always outlasted other brands.

These batteries are OK.. I ordered two for a raspberry pi project and they do terrible in colder temps.

Had it installed in a Goal Zero backup power unit. Was always kept on float charge. Now it is reading <3 volts. Nothing has brought it back. Will not buy again.
