Wish I Bought this Bag Two Kids Ago
My kids are 22 months and 8 months- and I wish that I had gone with my initial instincts when looking at bags while pregnant with number two. I almost purchased this bag then but decided to go with the Ju Ju Be Packabe. Don't get me wrong- that is a nice bag- but it is huge, heavy, and you definitely could not get away with disguising it as a regular purse. It ended up being relegated to the car trunk, where it still sits waiting with supplies in case of emergency situations like blowouts, stranded with a hungry kid needing a bottle, etc.I just received this bag today and tore into the box in anticipation. The bag presents beautifully- it is a slouchy hobo style purse with a gorgeous quilted jet black print of upside down hearts. It also comes with a little Babymel keychain that is a heart. I normally don't go for heart-type stuff, but it is so cute and fashionable that it is delightful. The inside is a beautiful rockstar pink- bright and easy to find your contents. There are 6 inside pockets, a deep bottom, two front outside pockets that are narrow at the top and wide at bottom so things don't fall out, one insulated bottle pocket that zips so you don't see the bottle (though you either have to have a short 8 oz bottle or a 4 oz. I wasn't able to fit an 8 oz Drop-in with a cap in it) and one long back pocket with a magnetic clasp.Basically, it holds everything you need. With two under two you can just imagine my bag contents: 4 diapers, wipes, boogie wipes, 2 books, snacks, spare toys, baby food jars, spoons, bibs, formula, table covers, flashcards, my own wallet and personal items, etc etc. Despite this the bag is very light when full, and has a nice heft that makes it easy to wear on one shoulder or cross-body. I love that it attaches to the stroller too. I have a Chicco Together which has a very wide bar, but the straps fit easily. I do use the Ju Ju Be "Be Ju Ju Be Be Set Bags, Dizzy Daisies " to keep the insides organized. The only complaint I have is that they didn't take the time to apply a shoulder padding to the strap- which is wide but thin nonetheless. It isn't exactly painful to wear, but it could be more comfortable. I am going to finagle this myself.Wonderful bag, you can use it as both your purse and your baby bag...you will not be disappointed!

A Great Choice!
All throughout my pregnancy, I knew that I wanted to get a diaper bag that was both stylish and functional. I definitely didn't want anything big and clunky with cartoonish-prints all over it...and I also didn't want something so small and designer-like that it would compromise it's use. That said, I started doing a little research on-line, and came across the two front-runners in my diaper bag search: the SkipHop Studio Diaper Bag and the BabyMel Amanda Diaper Bag. Right up until my 7th month, I was completely torn over which of the two I should buy. Then, I finally decided upon the Amanda Bag purely because of its practicality (i.e., the ability to attach it to the handles of a stroller over having to constantly carry it), and I'm certainly glad that I did! My little one is just over a year now, and this bag is still holding strong. It has transitioned well from a baby bag to a toddler bag, with plenty of room for all of the essentials (built-in changing pad, side zipper for sippy cup, accessible outside pockets for mommy-things, etc.). My only gripe is the following: around my son's 9th month or so, the bottom of the velcro on the handle straps began to peal back a bit. Ever since then, I have had to be extremely careful when attaching/removing the bag from our stroller, so as not to damage it any further. This is slightly annoying - but we also use that feature of the bag constantly, so it may just be part of normal wear and tear. My other comment would be that this bag may be a bit small for any mommies who are trying to cram multiple kiddos things into it. It works perfectly for us, being that we only have one child so far. Although, I do admit that if we have another, I will probably be forced to upgrade to something bigger. All in all, however, I am very happy with my choice, and would recommend this bag to other expectant mother's of one. If you are the looking for something that can transition well from baby-carry-all to purse - then the Amanda Bag is the one for you!

Nice bag
It's a very nice looking bag, I'm not sure how practical it will be though. So far I have it setup for our hospital bag...if room is what you're looking for, this is not the bag. It definately looks good though. Will have to come back and post later when I actually just use it for the baby and take it around w/ the stroller too.

Love this diaper bag
This is my third diaper bag. I have a four year old and a one year old. I love it. I love the compartments and I love the look of it and the quality of the materials. I have had it for a few months and it still looks new. Very functional and very attractive. Worth the price.

cute
I ordered this diaper bag because it's gender friendly. However, a little too masculine. I love the pink inside and the thermal pocket though! Also, the heart is a cute feature, however, it kept falling off and eventually I lost it. If you really like it I recommend changing the link chain to a keychain loop (I think that's what it's called). All and all, I like it.

Love this bag!
I own 3 Babymel Amanda bags. The only reason I bought the other two is because I loved my first one (Which I bought 4 years ago) and wanted a new one to match my outfits!I received complements from my mother and friends. I bought this for my mother, since she loved mine and thought it would be a great bag to use when travelling (She is 60+ years old). Very well designed and carries everything a mother needs for a short or long day trip without beeing bulky!Very practical and stylish!

Good but expensive.
Had this bag over a year for a changing bag. It's still going strong. It has plenty of internal and external pockets and has a good quality construction. It's also very soft feeling. It loses a star because £60 seems a little expensive.

baby bag
This bag is a really lovely bag but it's not worth the money ...... my 3rd child is breast feeds child so I don't carry anything heavy in my bag and it only lasted 2months before it split at the handle I was very disappointed x

Babymel Amanda changing bag
This changing bag is wonderful and stylish. It is not too mumsy or clumsy. Very practical, love the way you can fasten securely onto pushchair etc. Like all the different compartments. Easy to find all items necessary without having to unload bag each time.
