ZyXel AVS105 Aerobeam AV Optimized 5 Port Gigabit Switch,Black

I have had various ZyXel products in the past and they all work great, and the AVS105 is no exception. It's designed to balance and prioritize various devices that are plugged into it. It has 3 higher priority ports and 2 lower priority ports for lower bandwidth devices and it's very noticeable especially with my Plex media server. Just going to order another shortly to replace my older Netgear switch.

Does what it supposed to. Very light construction. Did not like that the power cord plugs into the SIDE of the device, rather than the back as you might expect it to.

I have three of them and they worked for a couple hours. Followed the direction.when it worked it loaded Netflix 10 Xs faster.

I got this switch a few months ago, plugged in and forgot about it. It works flawless and definitely made my network faster. I have a network storage drive and transfers between my computers and the NAS are much faster.

Used this to hook up my Smart TV and Blu-ray player in my bedroom. Had one ethernet port in there, which is faster than if I used my WiFi, so for me, this worked well

Bought 3 of these to replace older switches that couldn't handle our upgraded internet speed and they work flawlessly - plug them in, connect the ethernet cables and forget about them.

using to take the internet from a wall adapter and feed to a Roku device and a computer.Worked instantly and have not had any problems for the past few weeks.

Plug it in and it does its job. That's it. 4 extra wired Internet ports by simply plugging it in. Love it.
