The Lakota Way 2016 Wall Calendar: Native American Wisdom on Ethics and Character Calendar – Wall Calendar, July 22, 2015

I have developed a great appreciation for John Marshall III as an author, so I was looking forward to this calendar for next year. I was not disappointed. I think everyone will get something a bit different out of it, so what I appreciated most may not be what someone else will. But it's far more than just 30 squares (or 31) on a sheet with a pretty picture above it. This is worth studying and contemplating each month.

I buy one of these every year! I think this might be my fourth one, and I just love following along with the Lakota seasons. The art is always amazing. It's a great conversational piece when people come over and it gets people interested in a culture that needs more recognition. I know I will be getting another one for 2017 :)

I buy this calendar every single year. It has such beautiful inspirational thoughts from the Lakota. The artwork is gorgeous in the calendar.Joseph M. Marshall III is my favorite author, and to have a calendar created by him is wonderful!I would encourage everyone to buy this and hang somewhere you look at it every single day!

If you are into Native American spirituality, you should love this unique artwork. Strangely, the month pages do not indicate the "western" day of the week. So, we wind up writing them in.

Packet with this beautiful well-wrapped calendar +2 other books was waiting for me after a long day between airport and hospital. Now that's good medicine! A-ho!

I love the "Lakota Way" series. The text is lovely and insightful, and the illustrations are beautiful. I order the calendar every year.

This is a very beautiful inspirational calendar. The graphics are fantastic. I am really like the descriptions, seasonal and daily wisdoms. It is helping enhance my minimal knowledge of the Lakota language and way of life and beliefs.I love it.
