I would give this 10 stars if it were an option because 5 doesn’t seem like enough. When you get one you may think it won’t last long but looks are deceiving. I’m pretty tough on these as a general rule and bring them with me when I travel. Not only are these way better than carrying a water bottle while running but they are indestructible. I accidentally ran the flasks through the washing machine and dryer the other day. I thought they’d be ruined but they held up great, even held the remains of water left overs from my last run. They didn’t leak at all. Kinda reminds me of the old Timex watch commercial, “Gets a lickin’ and keeps on ticking” If only everything were built as well as the Fitly.

Pros: 1) I wanted something small that my husband and I could carry in our pockets during our daily 5 mile walks. This is perfect. As you can see in the pic, it is slim enough to put in your back pocket. 2) We freeze them with the water inside (leaving room for expansion), so it is extra nice on a hot day to have what is basically an ice pack. The pic shows the water frozen inside. I like holding my bottle against the back of my neck to cool me off, and it speeds up the melting process so that I have some water to drink fairly quickly. My husband keeps his in his back pocket for most of our walk, so his remains partially frozen the entire time, but he still has water to drink. Cons: 1) I can’t get the spout to work. I know you’re supposed to bite the soft part gently but even when I do that, squeezing the bottle gently, barely anything dribbles out. So I just remove the cap and drink it that way. No big deal — I like getting a bigger swig of water. It doesn’t drip out of the spout, so that’s good. My husband can drink out of the spout with no problem. 2) There is a slight rubber taste. Like drinking out of a rubber ball. I washed the bottles with baking soda and water, and it helped a bit. My husband doesn’t notice it as much as I do. But if you add some powdered, flavored Pedialyte to the water, then it tastes great and it gives you more electrolytes too! These bottles were perfect for our needs despite the cons.

I bought two of the the 8.5 oz bottles and they fit perfectly in the side pockets of my running shorts. I love them for long-ish runs that don't require a full pack, but are long enough that you definitely want to carry some water. I used to carry a hand-held and I hated it, so these are a really nice change. Other people mentioned a plastic taste, but I just rinse them out really well with hot water in between uses and let them air dry - no issues with weird taste.

When I was 10 and would swim in the pool sometimes I’d get a little pool water in my mouth. The taste from this 8.5 fitly bottle is exactly that. It smelled bad before washing, smelled like a pool after, and tasted like the fresh pool water with that same rubbery taste. The other day I bought a 8oz baby bottle 🍼 in case this thing didn’t work as I read many reports of it leaking. because I need to hydrate in walks with something small in my pocket and my biggest thing with walking and being hydrated I felt like I’d have to carry a bottle or bring a whole backpack with me. I got fitly to fix this problem. But the tester doesn’t taste the safest to drink from it, even with the tip of the baby bottle cut off the bottles lid still keeps water in tightly and has zero bleed through taste unlike the fitly bottle. I’m now soaking it in soapy water hoping that fixes the problem. I don’t write reviews much but with being so disappointed in what looked like the perfect bottle be having it be beat by a $2 bottle from my local store, I felt like this could save others from the same experience I faced even auger cleaning it once already. *update washed two more times still that’s like pool water and the bottle is misshapen when filling it up. Maybe the 5oz would be better.

This bottle was great for one season. I really liked that it compressed and fit in a pocket when it's empty. The top seal worked well if you made sure it was tight. But.. You could not leave water in it for more than a few hours without it tasting very plasticky. That never really went away, but it was fine if you filled it and drank immediately. The main problem is it sprung a pinhole leak after 5 months of 3x/week low impact use. Then it sprang another, so in the trash it goes.

Looking for a way to carry a reasonable amount of water on me while running a half marathon, but hate holding anything, get annoyed when half empty water bottles slosh around, and am not a fan of bulging side pockets. Found the Fitly Soft Water bottle on Amazon and decided to try it. It worked out perfectly. The bottle held plenty of water for my race (I also drank fluids provided by the race, but didn't want to be limited to when I could get a drink if I was thirsty). As I drank the water, the bottle collapsed...no sloshing. It also amazingly fit into my side pocket with too much of a bulge and as I drank the water, the bulge diminished. When I completely drained the water it was easy enough to fold up an tuck in my pocket. Super happy with this product and am looking forward to using it on my next half marathon.

I was looking for a water bottle to bring with me on my long runs, but I didn’t want something that was bulky like a belt that has hard plastic water bottles with it. I came across this when I was searching and this has been perfect. The 8 oz one is small enough that I can still fit it in my normal belt bag, even when full, and then as I progress through my run and drink it, it shrinks down further and takes up less space. The nozzle doesn’t leak unless it is put in a position where there is pressure on it. The bottle itself feels flexible but durable. The only issue I have had is that if I hold it in my hand when I run, the water gets warm and I don’t like that. So I just shove it in my belt bag and problem solved!

Ho comprato questo prodotto per le mie uscite di allenamento per la corsa. Prima del primo utilizzo ho lavato la borraccia con detersivo e limone per togliere l’odore di plastica e lasciato a mollo per 1 notte. Con questo lavaggio non ho sentito il retrogusto della plastica/silicone della borraccia. Sicuramente richiede un lavaggio frequente, soprattutto dopo l’utilizzo. Trovo questa tipologia di prodotto utile perché flessibile e poco ingombrante. La capienza è perfetta per allenamenti non troppo intensi come i 10-15 km di corsa. Il corpo della borraccia, che risulta essere in gomma flessibile, risulta ben saldata con della colla sulla parte superiore (parte vicino il boccale); spero che duri nel tempo.

Rimane il sapore della plastica nell'acqua! Da migliorare

No pongo 5* porque para que salga agua tengo que morder y no sé cuánto tiempo me durará antes de romper el plástico. Igual son todas las botellas estas así, pero lo desconozco porque es la primera que compro

Kan vara bra att veta att man behöver bita på korken för att dricka. Alltså inget lock mer än att skruva av för att fylla den. Funkar.
