Lumin Charcoal Scrub for Men | Deep Detox Face Exfoliator | 30ml

Just give it a try. I have cystic acne and had the roughest versions of acne scarring throughout high school and although time seemed to soothe the severity of the break outs, all the scarring and blemishes gave me uneven skin tones and I pretty much accepted it (33 years old now). Lumins givin me a bit of reason to think I can better my “image.” Although I’ve only used this once, it was magical. I bought the trio set with the cleanser and exfoliator (will be buying the toner later but I think that’s not available on Amazon for now) and the moisturizer. Don’t despair on the small sizes - it’s normal outside of America. The products are advertised to be used in quite generous amounts according to the testimonials and demonstrations on their ads, especially with the cleanser, but I use barely a pinkey-tips worth and it gives a THICK coat for my entire face. Same amounts for the other products too. Yes my face felt a sensation especially with the exfoliator (you’re supposed to be to use that a few times a week anyways) but I woke up and and the effects were amazing. The amount of dirt and skin that come off my face was alarming but definitely satisfying and the fact my face was tighter with smaller pores and better tones overall was validation Not going to post pictures - yet. But once I’ve used it all maybe I will. I’m excited to see what it does for me down the road. Even the cystic scars have gone down tremendously and my pores are tighter. FYI - I used a Trader Joe’s Cleanser and the Witchhazel Rose toner and neutrogena spf moisterizer (which I advise using against high sun exposure anyways) for years but Lumins product is by far way more effective and superior. You can just tell. And I don’t spend time on “beauty routines” - the prior products I used were recommendations from my gf. Overall - give it a try. These reviews had me second guessing and yes people react differently but Korean Cosmetics have a reputation that precedes itself. Your celebrities be using them too! Maybe just not this particular one.

I bought the previous incarnation (before the rebrand /pacakge/quantity/price change) of this product and so my review (and the stars) is about that product. I decided to try Lumin (I was using Brickell's Men's exfoliating scrub for a few months and decided to take a chance - Lumin's price was right and so was the look) and was greatly impressed. The product was called Exfoliating Rub and it turned out to be a hidden gem! It was superior to Brickell's brand in every way, as I noticed a difference in how my face felt and the impact, which was noticeable. I looked forward to my exfoliate days with real pleasure I was looking forward to becoming a regular customer with this brand but it seems they hit a stride and now raised the price, updated the look and quantity and are looking to keep escalating. A worthy ambition for any business owner...not so much for the customer. Not sure if I want to take the chance it will work the same for the increased price and formula change. I guess I will continue to search. I will search the review section to see if anyone had a positive experience with this new product. In the meantime I will use their pre-change product with love and care!

I love all of lumin products I’ve been using them for about 4 years on and off now. I have tried others and close quality such as Jack Black tiege Hanley and oars and alps. All those are pretty decent products, but nothing beats the quality of lumin. I had it when it was first in jars, which was actually better even though I prefer the bottles but that’s because you got way more product. The scrub would easily last me a month to a month and a half now I’m lucky to get a month out of one little tube, charcoal wash. The amount size is still excellent. Same with the eye balm and moisturizer which in my opinion, the moisturizer is the best I’ve had hands-down ever and I have oily skin and I don’t even need to get their oil free one that’s how excellent the product ingredients are. Come on though get back to a normal size like 2 ounces would be nice.

I also use the Body scrub, shampoo and conditioner. When I commit I commit fully! I cannot give enough praise for these products! Are they pricey? Yes. Do they do as they say; YES! I could not be any happier with the results. After 6 months of consistent use there is a difference on my skin. I will use this stuff as long as I can get it. My ONLY complaint; the exfoliation scrub has an expiration date! It turns to a watery mess after a time. I thought "stocking up" during the "sale" would be ok. The Exfoliation rub has other ideas though. Everything else keeps real well. I highly recommend Lumen Mens products!

I bought this product about a year ago from the Lumin website itself and I have to say- I absolutely love it; it’s the best exfoliating scrub I have every used in my life! I’ve been waiting a while for it to become cheaper since it’s usually over $20 dollars; so now that it’s finally $12 I have bought it again. It gets rid of all the dead skin on your face making it silky smooth. Many of these other reviews are low rating due to the person probably not reading the directions correctly.. it works best after cleansing your face and patting dry then adding a small amount on the areas of your concerns. softly rub in the exfoliate until it takes the dead particles off. All I have to say is… this product is well worth the money! I absolutely love it and I think so will you! :)

This is a definite no for me. I understand that I am way past the return date on this, so I can't return it. I have a lot of skin care products that I had purchased in bulk so I didn't even get around to opening the box for this until just a few days ago. To begin, what I received doesn't even look like what I ordered. It came in a small round container. Upon opening the container, I was met with this dark oily liquid that spilled over my fingers. In the middle of the liquid is some black blob-like substance. I even went so far as to put this in the refrigerator overnight in the hopes that it would harden. No luck. The next day it still looked like it did in the photos and video that I've attached. I'm not sure if this is a quality thing or not, but I'm a bit surprised that there appeared to be such a drastic chemical breakdown of whatever goes into this face scrub. Which is really the only words I have to describe what I saw. Why I received this and not the tube that I expected, I will never know. But what I do know is that this isn't usable in its current state. I guess I have to blame myself for not inspecting it once I got it. This was very disappointing.

want to look handsome? look no further lol. you'll be surprised how much nicer you look almost instantly when you get rid of all that nasty dead skin off your face and nose and forehead. you and everyone around you will notice a difference immediately..

Love this product. Bought it when from the brand directly when it first launched but it was being shipped from the US and customs charges made it way too expensive, but now it's available on UK Amazon it's a great buy! For anyone saying the pot is tiny, yes it's small but you only need a tiny amount. It literally rubs away all the dead skin and leaves your face feeling fresh and tight. Definitely need to moisturise afterwards as it feels a bit 'fresh' underneath but that for me is a sign that it is actually doing what it claims to. One of my favourite face products and well worth the price.
