Hampton Bay Ceiling fan Remote kit

I purchased two of these one for a fan in my dining room and one for a fan in my living room. I wasn't sure at first how they were going to fit but after the installation and reading the instructions of course, they fit just fine and they work beautifully. I like the handheld remote and the fact that I can hang them on the walls. I chose not to drill holes or screw the holders into the walls but I use a Velcro wall hanger.

I cannot review because it is not the correct remote unit for my fan. I submitted the model of my fan and this unit was the search result. Upon deeper research I discovered the correct unit that costs double the price of this unit. Don’t trust search, remove your current unit and order the correct replacement. I may be able to use this one for another fan.

this was the simplest installation I have done on a retrofit application. Besides needing smaller hands to get into everything the whole process from setup to clean up was done in less than 20 minutes! works like a charm!

This was fairly easy to install and it works perfectly. Just what I was expecting.Inexpensive and convenient to turn your lamp/Fan on/off.

I have used the light just a few times before this.The light won't shut off and i had to take the bulbs out ti use the fan.I used low wattage bulbs and kept turning power off hoping to reset, no luck.Will not reorder.

Worked great. Very easy to install. Fan had a place to mount the receiver in the fixture that attached to the ceiling mount.
