Q: are you sure that it is zone 0?

It is marked as a Region 4 player, but set up to work for "all" regions -- "0" through 6 are advertised, 7 & 8 are "special use" codes and may not be supported. The "all region" setting was likely done by someone other than SONY. Mine works well with Region 1 and Region 2 discs, and I've also tried it with "Region 0" PAL DVD's.

Q: I have an 16GB Flash Drive of downloaded music. Will this unit play (ALL) of the songs or only some of them?

I couldn't find my owners manual but the description says USB playback, sounds like it doesn't matter how much, it is just transfering your data to the TV/screen. Not sure if thats a good enough answer but hope it helps.

I'M sorry - I have no idea. I found what I hope to be a more acceptable replacement in a Samsung DVD-C500 which is readily available from multiple vendors as a Region 1 player and very easily programmed ("hacked") to be either region 2 or region -free.

Q: What cord do I need to connect this to my tv in the US? The one included does not match the tv inputs.

It should. Unless your TV doesn't have the red,white and yellow inputs in which case just get an adaptor or use another TV. That connector has nothing to do with country.
