Whole Foods Market, Butter Cookies & Sweet Cream Italian Gelato, 16 Fl Oz

WOOOOW. Don’t think I’m eating the same gelato as some of these other negative reviewers. It’s amazing. Butter cookie pieces are on top, not mixed in, which turned me off initially, but it sort of forces you to savor them more. The gelato itself is smooth as SILK. Nice little caramel swirl happening. Nothing negative to say. Phenom. Plus got it on sale soooo... Just get it.

I’m a very picky eater. I only eat plain Vanilla ice cream. This is great, it’s gelato so keep that in mind! It’s not thick like ice cream. It’s exactly what it claims to be...”sweet cream” I don’t care for crunchy; the soft butter cookies on top is perfect.

Smooth and creamy you can see right through the container there's ribbons of caramel also the description says buttery caramel sauce and that's exactly what it tastes like made with great ingredients this is a product for everyone that loves ice cream that would like to eat it without the guilt... a must try

Really wanted to like this ice cream and admit I expected more from Whole Foods brand. The ice cream has a layer of butter cookies covering the top. They are Lorna Doonish tasting, so ok. The ice cream itself has a lovely flavor, creamy and light.l, which is the only reason it got 3 stars. However, halfway down against sides is a “caramel” sauce that is not listed in description. You need to read ingredients to see there is any caramel. Nasty, tastes like those Bottled artificial flavorings that you put in coffee. Gross and not real caramel Threw it out. FYI, had it delivered, so didn’t see the sauce.
