Worked but it had a hole!
When I put the water in, I did not know there was a hole in it. If I would’ve known I would’ve returned it and got my money back… both of the water jugs had holes in it — I was so disappointed! If it didn’t break so easily I would’ve loved using it. I wouldn’t purchase again… gonna go get a harder plastic or container.

Perfect size
2.5 gallon is a good size to manage full. No odor or taste issues.

It is holding up so far
Took it camping for the first time for a week. It held up. I'll update this if it breaks or springs a leak.

I haven’t used yet
I bought these to keep on hand and haven’t used them yet but they look and feel pretty sturdy. Will try and update review when I do start to use them.

Perfect for my use
One of them has a hole in it and I don’t know why or how it happened because I only use them to capture the water from my shampoo bowl when washing my clients hair. I never let it fill up and I empty them immediately afterwards. I have had them for a while and I use them about 5 days a week, but still they should be durable enough to accommodate my needs.

Arrived with a hole in the side.
This is an excellent size, and easy to carry and fill. Unfortunately, mine arrived with a hole already punctured in the side, and it began to drip fat water droplets out of the side the very first time I started filling it. Not returning it, because I really like the cap and want to use it on another similarly sized water tote I had that the cap fit on perfectly. The spout-cap is super useful, and the design is good -- I think I just got a lemon that had a misadventure somewhere along the project line.

Functional but not super durable
I bought a pair of these jugs to use for water hauling while staying at a primitive tent campground that had no utilities at the campsite we rented. They are fairly easy to unfold and fill up at an outdoor spigot, but the blue taps/spigots that screw onto the fill and drain spouts are cheap quality plastic. It was really tough to get these spigots screwed down tight enough so the jugs wouldn’t leak after filling them up. They are made of thick polyethylene (same stuff as milk jugs) and look like they’ll last for about 4-6 camping trips before they get chafed or punctured and start leaking. I bought them only because they collapse when emptied and are easy to store between camping trips. Not sure if they were really worth the money yet.

Water Storage
Purchased for emergency water storage. They work great as long as you do not have it turned for easy access to the spigot, then it does leak.
