Very well made, great for cutting eva foam and cardboard. Blade replacement is easy and can also be found at Hobby Lobby. One tool the free hand cutter I hardly use since my Exacto knife does a better job. Circle cutter is amazing, perfect circles and adjustable size. V cutter is great for making valleys in eva foam to either place a rod or make corners without a seem. Great tools overall and worth the price.

I made a professional looking architectural model with this product. The cuts were nice and clean. Way better than using exacto knife. It doesn't make the job faster, but the end product is worth it. Plus, Pucking holes and making circles were easy and they turned out perfect. I love the big ruler. This product is well design and good quality. The only device I had trouble using was the Rabbet. I tried it twice and I couldn't get a nice cut to do wall folding. I need to watch the instructional video again. There is an instructional video per each device in YouTube.

So much nicer and safer than working with only a box cutter, T-Square and freehanding with an X-acto knife. As a wargaming hobbyist, I have cut a lot of foam board for building terrain. I have just played with this kit it a little and can not wait to design and build a model with the deluxe kit. I saw some of the reviews before I purchased it, that stated some of the items pictured are not included. I layed out all the items, close to how the photos looks, except all the blades and they are included. It does look like evetrything is there.

Very nice tools and they glide through foam, but foam can take its toll on blade in a hurry, so buy a sharpener or a lot of extra blades. They come with onboard storage but you'll probably need to buy a lot of blades. Instructions are nice. Would be good if these were made to take a regular box cutter or straight razor blade instead of very stylized ones.

I'm getting started working on foam board, and I've always been a firm believer that you need the right tools if you're going to do the job well. I did some research, and this seemed to be the kit to buy.It has a few flaws, but all-in-all, this kit does what it's intended to do: Allows users to cut foam core in a variety of ways.There are some great ideas in this kit - using magnets to hold blades in place before they are secured, for example, was a stroke of brilliance. Having blade storage in everything except the circle cutters built right into them? Another great idea.My frustrations with the kit are very minor - for example, the blade on the 6001 straight cutter sits about two inches away from the channel rail, so you need to line up the blade at both ends of your line before you cut. A similar frustration exists with the groove cutter.The instructions are only a few pages long, and are frustratingly vague for some parts. Thankfully, the parts themselves are basically idiot-proof once you look at them a bit - and the manufacturer has a series of videos up on YouTube that are among the best informative videos I've ever watched.

Be very careful and know what you are ordering. It is not what is pictured. My bad...I accept the fact I was duped by the picture and did not carefully read what was part of the basic kit vs. the "Deluxe" kit. But read the deluxe kit...still does not indicate you receive the circle cutter nor the drills shown in the picture. Don't know if this is intentional nor do I care...will not buy from this company again, and this has put me on guard for all my future Amazon purchases...just my opinion, but pictures shown should match product for sale. As near as I can tell, none of cutters in base set really can use the groove of the rail, they just would ride up against it like any straight edge ruler, again to get the full benefit of having the rail need additional purchase...only reason not rated lower is again...I got what I ordered...not what I expected...with me, such tactics only work once....disappointed.

These kits are a lifesaver at our shop, we cut a lot of EVA foam for cosplay purposes and these tools make that so much easier. The circle cutter is the bomb!

This foam cutting kit has re-energized my desire to return to crafting. The tools are very easy to use and allow you to cut foamboard quickly and accurately. Make sure you have plenty of foamboard on hand when you order because you will want to get started immediately. I highly recommend this product and it is probably the best crafting tool that I have.
