Great sandal at a great price! I bought it for my son for next season. This style accommodates his extra wide feet, which is very important when I look for shoes. Even though this brand/design does not say Wide, it fits. Also the shoe is super light weight and flexible, which is great for active boys on playgrounds. I also like the cutouts which provide more breathability. In addition, the machine wash option is great! I am very pleased with this purchase.

My little one loves the rich red color and the fact that he can 'help' put his shoe on and take off. I love the fact that his foot is protected. The straps are placed very well so that even mulch doesn't get in his shoe. (His older brother has a different pair of Pedipeds that are wonderful in many ways, but somehow allow mulch pieces to get inside. He is always taking off his shoe to dump out the mulch.) The nice thing about all the Pediped sandals is that none of them have given the boys blisters. Previous purchases of Stride Rite, Timberland, and Tevas have left blisters or red marks on their feet. No need to break in the Pedipeds. They were comfy from day one!Only critical point is that the strap sometimes comes undone. Not sure if it is because I need to be better at 'sticking' it down, but it may be because the strap is on the thinner side. Overall, another Pediped winner!

Our family have been fans of Pediped shoes for young children since my older son (now 5) was learning to walk. This is our first pair of Saharas, we got size 24 in the brown for my newly 2-year-old second boy. He may be one of those kids who has aversions to foot things, he sometimes complains about particular shoes (flat refused to wear Bobux soft-soled leather toddler shoes once he could properly walk, etc) so he complained a lot when I first tried to put these on. But I pushed through it and he forgot he didn't like them. We JUST got these, so we'll see how many days he keeps up with the initial complaints. Anyway, from an observer's point of view, these are cool sandals. I can see that they may feel a little weird, they are totally synthetic and very lightweight, with a spongey feel from all the foam and neoprene, they may feel stiff at first. They are MUCH more attractive in person than the pictures--something I've come to notice with many Pediped shoes. My son has normal-width feet, sturdy but not chunky or wide, so the shoes don't seem wide to us. Longer in the toe area than I expected. I tried Keens on him (hand-me-downs) and he hated them, but we do a lot of River and wet play so we needed a water-ok sandal, and these seem like a great alternative. More flexible, since they have a thinner, softer sole, and maybe stretchier, but still with good toe protection--and more venting plus more fabric surface area, so maybe it will avoid the stinkiness we get with the K brand. It seems like the vents are still narrow enough to prevent playground bark, etc getting in, although sand still will. There isn't any way to adjust the grip on the foot, and just one long velcro ankle strap may mean a bit of a squeeze for some, but the good news about the ankle fastener is that the velcro strip is long, so it has better gripping strength and will stay secure longer. And you can loosen it if you wish. A good water/outdoor play alternative to the leading Keens model, I think!

We are very happy with this shoe, it is our third pair (baby's third pair), and we are ordering another next month. We always use the EU size charts as it is always accurate, in my shoe buying experience worldwide. I am biased towards the UK size, but not for my children, EU children's sizing cannot be beaten. The shoe itself is well made, wears well (it always looks new), and apparently is comfortable, as this is our son's favourite shoe and he hates having them removed. There is only one little thing- they aren't "washable" in our experience. Once they have been washed they smell terrible. But this is only a minor thing, we do not wear these into water now.

I'm a stride rite mom, and have ordered nothing but for my daughter and now my son. Maybe because pedipeds are ridiculously over priced, but I got these for a steal. These are SO comfortable for my son's foot. They are very soft and flexible, the material all around (even on the top of the foot) is very soft, so it doesn't scratch his foot at all. The sole is super flexible, and the shoe overall is what I would consider light weight. The only downside is that my son has average two year old feet, not too wide and not too chubby. The sandals are made for a wider foot, and they can be slightly big for anything else...but we are still keeping them!

We first got this for our toddler after failing with another sandal. That was two years ago and we buy them every year! He loves these and can wear them the whole summer! He runs around in them very easily, never has any pinching or blister issues. They are nice looking and easy to put on or take off. Plus they are machine washable, which is a big plus! I'll most likely be buying Pediped sandals for him next summer too! One little note, they run big! I always make the mistake of buying them in the same size as his current shoe size and it's always too big. It's better to order one size down from whatever that current shoe size is.

Very good quality, airy and breathing shoes for toddlers and up. I use them for my daughter's preschool shoes, since they don't get sweaty but in the same time have a nice grip and will not slide. I keep buying new ones in slightly different colorscheme, I'm THAT pleased with them. I think I'm on to my 3rd pair already.

Its almost a size bigger than their sneakers in the same size, but way wider. Which doesn't make too much sense BC sandals are usually made for wearing without socks. So buy in a size down and if your kid has narrow feet I would skip these BC there's only one strap and its all the way by the ankle. Other than that they are good quality like pediped usually are
