Aqua LEISURE Quick Release Coil Lanyard

I used this lanyard on a dive to Belize, and it functioned as well as expected. It seems to be of a high quality, and it never fouled up. I would recommend using an inexpensive carabineer or shackle in conjunction with the lanyard, for I didn't quite trust the keyring. I'll be using this on future dives, and it is an inexpensive alternative to the other retracting lanyards and straps you might find elsewhere. The seller (leisurepro) provided the shipping/tracking information, and the item was recieved within the time allotted. Would do business again.

Its a little bulkier than I would have liked, but it does feel well made. I use it to attach a Go Pro that I've built a pvc rig so I can record my self and the fish. It worked.

This is an initial review, for I have not yet gone on a dive with it. In receiving the product, examining it, and tugging on it a few times, I find that the coiled cord is nice and long, and the lanyard is quite a bit larger and wider than the usual ones that I have seen. I plan to use it to secure a video camera housing, and my question for the moment is more about how to ensure a safe emergency release than how to keep a secure hold on the camera. I don't doubt that this lanyard will do the latter job quite well.

I bought this to connect to my dive console. It keeps it in close to help me streamline better. The quick disconnect allows me to extend out on the coil for reading my compass out in front of me. Overall very satisfied with the product.
