The best spice most people have never heard of
I love Aleppo pepper. It has lots of flavor but far less heat than crushed red. Aleppo is also finer, softer, less crunchy than crushed red pepper tends to be. It's a completely different seasoning and good for many things. I put it on eggs, avocado, pasta, in burritos, you name it. This "The Spice Way" bag is the best option for Aleppo pepper that I know of these days. I used to get it from the spice house, but their prices have skyrocketed. This product is fresh and brightly colored, perfect texture with good flavor and aroma.

Fantastic quality and packaging.
I have recently started cooking Mediterranean style dishes and have started using new spices. This Aleppo pepper is an excellent addition The product came in a well packaged vacuum packed sleeve for freshness. The taste is exactly as described by The Mediterranean Chef Suzy describes. It tastes and looks fresh with mild heat and great taste. I do not consider it hot or lingering, buts adds a new depth of flavor for me. You can use it on anything in my opinion to add a little something special, but not overwhelming. I would purchase The Spice Way herbs and spices again for the fresh flavor I'm looking for.

Hooked on Aleppo!
My daughter got in the habit of buying me new spices for Christmas when I was deemed as having 'everything'. Aleppo was one that I have taken to and now use on just about everything. It is mild but with a tiny bit of heat and a tiny bit of lemony finish. It adds positively to every dish from eggs to salad to fruit deserts. I'm hooked.

Reputable company, mild heat, fruity flavor with multiple uses
Iโve been cooking for 60 years now. This is a great product from a great spice company and a really good price. Aleppo is a mild heat pepper. Fruity flavor. Multiple applications: eggs, garlic bread, pasta, top meats and fish, mixed into homemade bread dooigh

No heat but tasty...
Decent quality, smells and tastes alright. However, it almost has no heat. Have to use close to a tea spoon amount instead of a pinch for a different brand.

Only Brand I'll Buy. This is my 4th or 5th bag in a few years, lol.
This is my favorite spice next to salt and I use it on everything except ice cream, lol.

A lot of pepper for not too much money
Giving The Spice Way's aleppo pepper flakes a rating of 5 for flavor, value, and freshness, but I have not yet eaten any. They smell good, look good, and seem comparable in quality to other much more expensive brands. Four times as much for the price I've paid for other brands. The Spice Way does not list the country of origin on the package. When I asked the company, they said the pepper came from Turkey, a common source of aleppo pepper flakes. Kudos to them for a fast response. I thanked them but said I'd prefer that they list the country of origin on the package. (FWIW, the package of dried minced garlic also was without a country of origin on the package.) In short, so far, so good.
