It fits. And more importantly it helps to prevent my daughter from getting a concussion while skiing. Especially like the new added feature, MIPS

Helmet is molded construction, not MIPS as advertised

The goggle retention clip quickly loses tension. It doesn't hold goggles on helmet when they slip off, causing them to fall to the ground and get scratched. I contacted Smith's warranty dept, which quickly accepted the claim. Only problem is they have almost no inventory in a size M and don't have this color anymore. So while the helmet is warranted, it's not replaceable. Otherwise it's a lovely comfortable helmet. The ear pads are very thick and make it a bit difficult to hear, but keep my ears warm. The clip is a major design flaw. Otherwise it's a nice helmet.

More comfortable than my old helmet. I especially like the adjustment dial.

I like the snug fit.The inside is plush.Easy to hook my ski goggles onto the back.

This is my second Smith helmet. My first one (Arrival model) survived a fall but I still thought it best to replace and wanted my new one to have Mips. I was pleased to get a good fit with the new helmet - it is easy to adjust for the perfect size. Once on, it stayed in place and was extremely comfortable. I wasn't sure about the matt white colour, my previous one had been a gloss white but actually it looked better than in the pictures. I have Oakley Prism goggles and they are an excellent pairing with this helmet. Having experienced a fall when I took a hit to the back of my head while wearing a Smith helmet I would never ski without one and the quality of Smith has saved me a concussion. I hope though I don't get any knocks with this new one!!
