Really don't know how good it is...none of my goats will touch it.

I mix this into my chicken feed and my laying hens have never looked better. In fact, you'd think they were show chickens. I even mix a little into my dogs and cats food once a week. I'm a big fan of kelp and spirulina products not just for me, but for our furry & feathered friends as well. Our friends always ask us what we give our animals (4 dogs, 4 cats, 4 chickens & 1 parrot) that makes them so soft and shiny and vibrant and I say, "sea kelp & spirulina" supplements.

Seemed like it had "filler" in it...material that was not kelp. Looked like green insulation, not sure if it was an organic substance or not, so I have to pick through product before using any, and haven't decided if it is even safe to feed to my critters.

This kelp is so helpful to keeping animals healthy. It is good quality and if the strong smell is any indication, I'd say it's pretty fresh. Have bought it multiple times and recommend it to anyone with animals.

My goats love eating this kelp! I give them each a few teaspoons a day and they gobble it up like treats! One if my goats has a problem with a goopy eyes and this seems to keep his eyes clear.

This will last my 5 chickens at least a year per the instructions.My chickens are free-rangers so get lots of greens - grass and kale - but will be a great supplement for the winter.

Texture is just right, not dusty like I was expecting. My goats had goiters that disappeared a week after feeding them 2 tablespoons a day.
