Doesnt seem to stay stuck
Bought this due to its "industrial strength" advertising. Have stuck this one adapter up 3 times now. Left it stuck underside of my desk for 24+ hours without anything plugged in to it. Then i plugged 3 things in to it, each time it fell down roughly 8 or 9 hours later.Pretty annoyed as it is just sticking to surface that other lesser quality adhesives are stuck to without any issues. Have a 8 socket adapter with 5 plugs plugged in to it that has been stuck up for 3 months without issues. yet this "industrial strength" adhesive, doesn't seem to last more than 8 or 9 hours.

Heat up surfaces including the tape.
Make sure both surfaces are clean and dry. Importantly one applied to the 1st surface you heat up the tape and both surfaces before they are stuck together. Many people have said this and it is the correct way to use this double sided tape. It works and is the only way to use the tape correctly

Clean the surfaces!
Excellent, first heard about 3M product after purchasing motorcycle helmet cameras and that worked out well to stick camera brackets to helmets. Looked for something sameish to mount interior rear-view truck mirror bracket to windscreen. This product worked first shot where others prematurely failed. Just ensure surfaces are clean and dry, gently warmed tape a little with hair-dryer and that mirror ain't coming off. Can certainly recommend it for similar applications

Just the job for number plates
I used this to fasten the plates to both my and my partners' cars, it was super easy and they have stuck firm and look much nicer than having the screws showing. In my experience, it isn't the easiest to remove but that is the point and a bit of hassle every few years is worth it IMO. To remove I find fishing line behind the plate removes the plate easily. The residue can then be removed with gentle heat and pulling off before a quick wipe with isopropyl.

Brilliant product and can have some fun with it!
Came across this product whilst having some fun at work. Seen a roll laying around at thought I’d have some fun with it. Sticks keyboards, mouses and cups of tea to the wall without fail. So came home and order a roll for myself. It’s held all sorts up at home really good stuff. Just think before you use as it is really really strong stuff and could cause damage to plaster etc. 1 star for easy removal, but if you’re buying to hold something you don’t want it easy to remove in my eyes anyway.

Does the job
See a few posts complaining about the tape not bonding/sticking and all I can say is make sure the surfaces are properly cleaned,I used this for my number plates and cleaned down with panel wipe first. Front plate is curved so I used a few clamps to hold it for a day before removing them. They've been on over a week now and haven't budged so I can't complain.

Finally, something that actually stays on when applied!
Absolutely great quality. I've purchased this for multiple things, but mostly for LED strip lights and camera mounts on helmets. As the adhesive cures overnight, it becomes very strong and the heat from the light strips does not cause them to fall off. I'm pretty sure it can handle much heavier loads with zero issues. The item also comes with mounting stickers, which seems to be a thick aluminium tape with instructions on it. You can use those to prevent items from sliding or falling of the double sided tape until it cures. However, make sure not to use the mounting stickers on painted surfaces like walls or wallpapers as it will possibly damage it. The sticker recommendation is 72 hours, but I only used mine for 24 hours and that was enough time for me as I didn't use it for heavy items.

Strong but fiddly
Had to replace some double sided tape on door cam on external door.Originally it would wobble a little but with this stuff on the back, its solid!Take a bit of time to get the backing paper off as not that easy with big fingers.Ease of remove - from the roll it very easy, from what you stuck it too.... good luck after couple of hours anyway.By Door cam will now not off even when I prize the front off the camera to get to the batteries! the back plate didn't budge! Will probably damage door trying to get it off when i upgrade door cam!
