Grab it with both hands!
I bought a pair of these from an old-time hardware store back in the 1980's (back when old time hardware stores still existed). Used them often for all kinds of projects. Great holding power and very durable. Decided I needed a few more sets and wasn't even sure if they were still made in this country. Was pleased when I found them on Amazon.. still made in USA...and not much more than the 1980's price (which was $7.95 written on them in indelible marker)! One reviewer complained about the difficulty in opening them. True, but these are not for the dilettante hobbyist (sorry Dotti)...it takes a strong hand to open them but exceptional holding power is worth it. Plus you'll develop a killer handshake grip!

Serious clamping horsepower
After struggling with 2" clamps, I got these 3" clamps and what a difference. Takes two hands to handle a whoper!

this is what you want if you need a large and strong (also hard to open) clamp.

Well made 3 inch spring clamps
Often a 2 inch spring clamp is not big enough. This 3 inch solves that when you don't really need a bigger clamp. The clamps are well made and for me provide the right amount of pressure. Takes two hands to open them but once open can be operated with one hand. I recommend every woodworker have at least a couple of these.

They work very well
I bought 4 Jorgensen 3203-HT Pony Spring Clamp, 3-Inch and while waiting for them to come in I bought 4 of the competitors, the (blue) ones. When the Jorgensen 3203-HT Pony Spring Clamp, 3-Inch came in they were much better than the (Blue) ones that I had bought so I bought 4 more of the Pony Spring Clamps. The (Blue) ones were too tight very heavy spring.

Tips slide right off
We needed these for our pool cover to stay in place. They work great but we need to be careful when we put them on the cover because the tips slide off and could rip our pool cover.

Chinese
The older ones I have are USA made. These are Chinese. They seem ok as clamps but I bought this brand thinking it was USA made.

Super strong spring
Great to have around the house, kind of like duct tape. So many things you can do. Instant hanger hook.
