Saliva is preferred to interact with Beet Roots as well as the natural bacteria in your mouth; so I take these capsules with water, let them soak in my mouth, then chew them mixing it well with saliva. The taste is excellent. I find this much more convenient then mixing beet root powder in a glass of water.

Some reason they upset my stomach. The pills are pretty big. Easy to use. Wanted to use for my high blood pressure. But stomach won't tolerate them.
