Clairol Natural Instincts, 2/36 Midnight Black, Semi-Permanent Hair Color, 1 Kit

Clairol decided to “improve” their Demi-permanent hair color that I had used for years. The new box was green in color instead of brown. I bought several and tried the new product. Instead of hair that shined and was full and bouncy, I got dull flat dirty looking hair. I found the old product on Amazon. Thank you! When I called the company they suggested I try their permanent hair color!!

You can't find the original natural instincts in the store anymore, so my mom was absolutely thrilled to find them online. Way more expensive at this point I'm sure due to lack of distribution but glad to have found it.

this hair color would not wash out of my hair! I tired different strategies, dish soap, hair stripper, ect. If you are just trying out a color to see how it would look. This is NOT the way to go. It's PERMANENT.

allI still have to put anti itch cream all over my head and antibiotic cream. It only stays on 10 minutes. I am highly allergic to hair dye, and even with all the anti itch stuff, I still have to wash my hair 5 or 6 times to get rid of the itch.

Love the conditioner that comes with this because you can keep using it and the fact that it lasts 28 shampoos and my hair has to be touched up at the roots every 3 weeks or so. So my hair doesn’t get build up since the color slowly washs out.

I've been using this product for years. It's easy to use and covers grey well. My hair is always softer after use. It's a little drippy (not terrible though) so that's why I took one star off my review. Otherwise...it's 5 stars all the way.
