Wonderful book
Professionally written, citations are used throughout the book and references are noted of medical or biological journals, articles, or textbooks. You can learn so much from care, husbandry, different localities, how they act in the wild, and diseases. One of my favorite reptile books and author! The seller also included a lovely bookmark!

A wonderful follow up to the first.
This is another excellent effort by Vincent Russo. The book has all of the information that was featured in the first book, but there is updated information as well.I would have liked to have seen a few more updated photos and more detail on the wild habits of boa constrictors of various species in this book but it is still worth buying this publication.I would love to see a similar book by Gus Rentfro (Vin's friend) another boa constrictor expert.I would recommend this book to anybody looking for information on boas.

Better than most websites
This book has been monumental in helping me prepare for my first boa. For every 10 websites I visit and get outdated information, this book knows a happy balance of modern practices. Must read for any new keeper, especially if you’re still learning about localities and morphs.

The Best Book on Boa Constrictors
I could say a lot for this book. I had a pet boa constrictor for 34 years before she passed at the age of almost 35. There's something healing about looking at all the beautiful photos of boa constrictors in this book, and seeing all the different color morphs and varieties that come from different locations in Central and South America. Boa constrictors are beautiful, gentle creatures, and "The More Complete Boa Constrictor" tells you all you need to know about them.

Planning on getting a Boa Constrictor? Get this book
It is, as promised, an updated version of the original Complete Boa Constrictor. It's full of info about all things boa. The history, the localities, the morphs, breeding, care, health problems, feeding, housing, and lots of pictures. If you're planning on keeping boa, I don't know if a more comprehensive manual exists. Just glossing over the "special thanks" section, it's clear a lot of expertise went into making this book.Looks way cooler without the plastic cover, also. Like some kind of epic snake bible.

Great read!
So far it is a great read! I’ve been looking into getting into keeping and breeding boas as a side project. I figured this would be an amazing book to read prior to making the final decision on if I will get into them or not! So far all signs are pointing to yes! 10/10 do recommend.

Most current written book on everything Boas
I have thoroughly enjoyed reading this book as I recently got my first BI Pastel het Blood Boa. Every other book was so outdated. This is over 500 pages of all the info you need to raise (and breed if you choose) for your Boa!
