First day of wear looks really sturdy and will do the job well. Have a border Terrier with a small head so can slip any normal collar. Thought this Martingale style would be good to try not as an anti pull collar but so he can’t slip when on lead.I ordered medium size which had give plenty of room to adjust. Although looks quite bulky on 9kg, but from other reviews and sizing at 34cm neck I thought small would pushing it. The only thing I hoped was it wasn’t so stiff and softer like other collars he has had but hopefully will soften in time. Dog doesn’t seem to mind however

Moved from a half-check collar to this, and it's quite an upgrade. The collar is very easy to put around my Shar Pei's neck with the clip buckle. She hasn't complained about it at all, by itching or or trying to remove it. Whilst it does look a bit bulky on the dog I have no reason to believe it's uncomfortable. It has a good looking design, looks well made, and definitely doesn't look cheap.It's study and I absolutely trust it with my Shar Pei (who usually doesn't pull, but can go tunnel vision with another dog in site) the 'checkmate' design which gentle tightens around the dog's neck with the intuitive design would be very useful for dogs that have a habit of pulling, even very strong dogs; without choking them.

This is my third Ezydog collar, my first and second one I purchased from Crufts many years ago and was well impressed with the quality and durability - with having very large German Shepherds I require something that is made of strong material seeing as all of my furbabies have been nearly 50kg or over. Would highly recommend this product time and time again. The shock resistant leads are really good too.

Nothing to dislike,got this as a 10th birthday present for my dog, it’s a replacement for one from the same company I have had for years, still ok but thought he would like a nice red one .

got little reflective bits in it as well and acts as a really comfortable "checking" Collar for the dog, just the right size for a Labrador that it doesn't end up being like a noose and cuts into his neck.I had the camouflage version before but I didn't see it was worth paying extra just for a different colour and this is perfectly good and looks really smart and has reflective Functionality which the camouflage one doesn't.Definitely will buy again when he finds fox poo and makes this one unwearable and uncleanable, hopefully got a couple of years in it before that happens

Excellent collar, our dog seems comfortable in it and she really can’t slip out of it. After so many slipped collars and harnesses our nervous rescue dog was becoming more anxious, probably because so were we especially near roads. We had resorted to a half chain Collar but it was cumbersome and didn’t look comfortable . This collar has changed all that we are relaxed and exploring new walks. Can’t recommend this collar enough!

Be careful, it tightens when the dog pulls but doesn't release as easily, I had to keep loosening it with my fingers. Do not leave on dog when unattended.

I bought this because my dog has a narrow head and can easily slip out of an ordinary collar. It's a good quality collar but my dog, who walks on my left hand side, has to wear it upside down or the slip part doesn't release and leaves it tight round her neck.
