FEIT BPG940/830/LED 500 Lumen Warm White G9 LED Light Bulb

This seemed like a really good LED bulb-the light didn't flicker, color temp was good, construction looked good, size was perfect. Too bad I only got to enjoy it for 1 day! I decided to do a careful postmortem on it and found that the thermal fuse (little thing sticking out with 2 skinny wires) was blown. I shorted the fuse leads together and powered it up on an isolated outlet supply and what do you know, it worked...sort of. It was crazy bright from all LEDS and heated up very fast so I disconnected it after 5 seconds. It was finger burning hot. Feit, if you are listening, I think something is going wrong on the driver board and overpowering and overheating the LEDs, thus blowing the the thermal fuse. It definitely didn't run that hot when I first installed it so something changed.

Bought these to replace the mini halogen bulbs in a chandelier. The halogens were costing over $8/ea at the local box store and burned out in 3-4 months. I need 6 at a time. These were $10/ea, but good for 10K hours.A perfect replacement fit for a G9 base. Dim pretty well and are nice and bright at 40W output. Even have their own glass globe.

I have ordered and installed 5 of these lights in a bathroom vanity fixture. Yesterday, within a week of having put them in, 4 of the 5 have burnt out. What a joke for bulbs that are supposed to last longer and cost $13+ apiece!

This G9 LED bulb produces more usable light than a frosted halogen bulb (which was pretty good). Color temperature, at 4000°K, is perfect and natural. No glare, easy on the eyes.

Bought 5 bulbs and installed, first went out within weeks, returned, then a 2nd did the same, sent it back and now 3 more burned out, but return window has ended.

These bulbs are exactly what I was looking for. They are bright white and are compatible with my Lutron Caseta dimmer switches. Ignore the negative reviews!

Wonderful bright replacement light bull. We struggled with the lighting of our bathroom vanity. It’s just a 3 bulb 40 watt vanity. These lights are a absolute must for A brighter long lasting LED. My wife loves them for getting ready and applying her makeup.

Great to receive such a strange buld

I just installed it a couple weeks ago and it failed, seems these are horrible for longevity... thankfully they are easy to replace... now to find packaging so I can return this...

I have bought this LED bulb twice. 1st time, it lasted about a week so I just thought I got a faulty item. I ordered it for the second time and it lasted less than 2 days. Needless to say, save your money!

It burned out in 10hours ,Dam expensive l7ght at $ 24 dollars
