Bought this for my 5 year olds iPad and I must say it took a beating! He was very rough with it however each time I took the case off to clean it the iPad was still in pristine condition. Very good feel and very durable! This is a high quality case that is easy to use and easy to clean! Definitely recommend as a cheaper alternative to an otter box.

Overall, good product. I use it on construction sites daily for the last 7 months.The Good:(1.) The protective bumpers and hand strap work great. I've dropped it a couple times from waist height without any issues.(2.) Other than at the front camera and home button, dirt is kept out great. I love this versus the others with the Apple Pencil slot, because they collect dirt very quickly.(3.) Ease of install and removal takes no time at all. You can easily pry it apart with your fingernail, and pushing it back in place is easier the more you do it. That's not to say the plastic becomes weaker, you just get used to doing it.(4.) The kickstand is sturdy and easy to push back into place.The Bad:(1.) The built-in screen protector is awful. The sensitivity of the screen drops drastically versus other brands I've used, and it makes using PDF editors and marking up photos a nightmare. Thankfully it came with a screen-less front cover as well, so I will be using that after my tempered glass protector comes in from another seller. Hopefully the clearance is enough.(2.) The sling is way too short for an adult to carry. I have a sling from the same manufacturer (Fashion Sport) that is several inches longer that I swapped for it. I appreciate that I can hook the sling into nearly every corner, except where the rear camera is.

* Excellent product. I returned a similar one because of frustration trying to snap it in place and more. This one blew me away how easy it was and the overall quality.* Only negative for me is the clear plastic cover which is a little more difficult to mark-up/edit things compared to a glass cover.

The new iPad is used for casual browsing by her family room chair. When I saw this more industrial-strength case arrive, I thought it was a bit of overkill. But it isn't. The stand is very handy, the hand-hold strap on the back has been enough to avoid any drops so far. So I can't report on drop survival. I'd rather not have to, honestly...The case took just a few minutes to install, and seems pretty darn robust as far as corner and edge padding. The back, with the handle and the kickstand(s), is pretty bulletproof. Not heavy at all, easy to hold on to, and definitely not slippery. Got an iPad you really don't want to drop, and want it to survive if you do? This case goes a really long way towards those goals. I'd buy another if I needed one, it's that good.
