I needed windshields quite badly for my lapel mics and there isn't much available and I bought these.I have several makes of lapel mics - Rode, Shure ... etc, and these little furry things just drop off because the hole is not elasticated and it is way too big for most lapel mics.UPDATEI returned them and have now found that Rode make a furry windshield called the MiniFur-Lav, which does the job well for lavs with small diameter capsures.

These are great wind muffs. Look good on camera and really good at omitting wind noise.
