Bought this item for cleaning my metal detecting finds, got it out the box excited to use it put my coins in it along with some water and set the time r for 3 minutes. It started to work and after 3 minutes came back, as I came back and the cleaning had finished the whole thing just made a fizzing sound, had a little red flash on the inside and a puff of smoke came from it. It wouldn't work after that. The screen was showing up with the timer but it just wouldnt work. I wouldnt recommend.

OK I might be harsh but seriously. I tried this vs baking soda and vinegar for a test.. and also just plain water.I needed something to clean jewelry, I bought the special liquid. and I tried I don't know how many times. repeating the cycle over and over allowing it to cool etc. after about 3 times and giving it time to rest as per instructions. the water heats up very hot. BE WARNED. This does nothing. well I lie, it uses electricity, and you have to take your time to fill it and add expensive additives that seem to do nothing too. Perhaps they would work in a real ultrasonic cleaner. I laughed as well, I put a piece of normal paper in, expecting it at least rip, after all the warnings say the tiny bubbles can damage glass!!!! hmm it didn't even break a soggy piece of paper. LOL seriously ... Don't waste your money.

For the 5 minutes it worked it cleaned well but broke the 2nd time I tried to use it with just a faint clicking noise and dimly flashing timer. Returned for a refund.

Complete waste of time and money! This did absolutely nothing in the way of cleaning! My jewellery was cleaned better by hand. Returned for a refund

Nice machine, works good like the one I had before. I use it for cleaning tools like sprayguns, glasses and even the filter of my coffeemachine.Perfect Design and easy handling.
