Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  First Off, I’ve been buying Aukey Products for years (Mainly Cell Phone Accessories) and was glad to see that they have finally branched out (took them long enough).This is a gift that I needed to vet before it went under the tree, so I attached lots of pics and a video due to possibly not being able to update later. Like many of you, I’ve bought amazon products and gave them to children and family to have hearts broken because the item was defective, so now I check first lolIt DOES NOT come with an SD card, which is why it has SD Cards on its Frequently Bought Together.Passed Criteria:· Records in 1080o Recording Starts when vehicle is turned on.· Mount/device does not move when going over speedbumps or abrupt turning.o We have HUGE speedbumps· Date & Timestamp can be set to local time zone.o Time is set statically (Make sure to change with Daylight savings for submitting as a type of proof (or alibi) could be an issue to explain the 1-hour differenceMounting: This is not in the instructions but extremely intuitive.To mount, insert the mount into the groove in the dashcam.click the tab open before applying on windshield, then tab down for suction sticking (in images)I was able to slode the cord in the door grooves as any professional install would do. This is circled in blue in an image. You basically pull back from the top corner next to the passengers visor pull down and run it down the inside seamWhat I didn't test: Night VisionI live in the city and there's not anywhere for me to test this. This would be more suitable for a more Urban setting where you can see the stars at night.

It's a good camera, came as described, and very well packaged. I liked the fact that it's capacitor powered as opposed to battery powered, since capacitors withstand heat and cold a lot better and durably last longer than battery powered cams. Capacitors are a must because cars get as hot as ovens in the summer time. The cable was long enough to run along the rubber inseam of my truck, and I appreciated the accessory options of either a suction cup or sticky mount, and the sticker hangers to clip the cord into.I purchased a high endurance class 10 SD card as recommended. High-speed/normal SD cards aren't appropriate for being continually overwritten. I also tested to make sure that it saves the last recorded clip even after the power's pulled, to test how it responds to suddenly losing power. It also offers the option to periodically remind you to reformat it to make sure your SD card is still go.I have to take a star though for there not being a USB slot on the 12v adapter plug-in.As for the video quality, it's colorful and sharp, but the details are fuzzy. You can't read any license plates at all if you or the other car is moving at any speed; only stationary.I'll update if it ever goes bad.

It captures excellent quality video for how low its price is. It's HD and the optics seem pretty good. A sharpening filter seems to help make any text (such as license plate numbers or road signs) much easier to read, even at a distance.Audio quality is passable, but frankly, as long as it captures your voice and horn blares, it doesn't matter too much. It definitely does those things.Visibility at night is definitely not the best, but you can at least get a basic idea of what's happening on the video. I assumed this would be the case when I purchased a cheap dash cam, though, so not really a gripe.It comes with both a suction cup and an adhesive mount which are separate from each other. I use the adhesive mount myself, but the suction cup was very high quality and didn't really feel like it would fall off.Overall, I've had an excellent experience with it. Highly recommend.

This Aukey Camera was a great Daily Driver for my Daily Driver! That is, until the USB Cord essentially broke/melted away from the camera. As for the product support, the window closed six months after the purchase, so it looks like I will have to be spending a third of the price of this camera on a new cord!***UPDATE*** About three days after writing the review, Aukey Customer Support reached out to me and sent a replacement! I gotta commend the company for sticking to the warranty as well as providing top customer support. I have changed me rating from 1 star to 4 stars.

I've now purchased two of the aukey cameras for my cars. First one was sold with the vehicle (mostly because it was cheap and almost impossible to remove the sticky from windshield). This second one I purchased because it had a suction cup.The camera itself is great! Note you need to get the right SD Card to capture videos, but once you've got that this camera is literally plug and play. Setup is a breeze (time, date, etc) and the camera just operates. The picture quality is really good and the camera captures a large section of the road in front of you.I have to say I'm really happy with both my purchases and if needed would buy another camera from aukey bc it's cheap and easy to use, and because it gets the job done.

For the price, this resistor based dash cam is hard to beat.If you want to keep it running while you're parked, keep a USB battery backup in your glove compartment and plug the camera into that for the time that you're parked. It will continue to run until your USB backup battery runs out of power.

I'll start with the only complaint, the B cable it comes with has to be the only thing plugged in as the end goes directly into the port, not A USB type..other than that it's a great camera. Anytime I have sharp turns or braking the emergency recording immediately comes on. The night quality is awesome. Once you bring it up on a computer you can clearly see license plates and everything. Good buy.

本体はプラスチック製、軽くておもちゃのようです。一般的なドライブレコーダーと違い、リチウムイオンバッテリーが無いため、エンジン停止後に直ぐに録画が終了します。付属品は充実しており、吸盤マウント、両面テープマウント、配線コードをとめる両面テープのついたクリップ6個、4m弱の電源コード、換えの両面テープ。説明書では付属品に「2ポートUSB カーチャージャー」と書いてありますが、入ってません。10数回電源をオンオフしたところ、まれに起動しない時があったので、様子見で星3つ。

時刻合わせが面倒なのでGPSレシーバー（GM-32）を取り付けてみました。GPSレシーバーを接続すると画面右上に「G」マークが赤で表示され、衛星を捕捉すると緑に変わります。更に画面下には緯度、経度、車速が表示されるようになりました。2019/08/24現在で、だいたいGPSレシーバーが1700円、本体がクーポン使用で4000円ということで、5700円で画質もそこそこ良いGPS付のドライブレコーダーが手に入るのはコストパフォーマンスが高いと思います。ただ、AUKEYのドライブレコーダーは、専用のビュアーがありません。普通に映像だけを見るのであれば色々とビュアーがありますが、せっかくGPS情報が入ったので映像と同時に地図上に位置を表示させてみたいと思いました。GPSレシーバーのレビューでは、DR02とDR01では、Registrator Viewer(DATAKAM Player)で地図上に位置表示ができたとのレポートがありましたので、最新と思われるRegistrator Viewer　v.6.0.0.22を探してきてインストールしました。しかし、当方のPC環境の問題か分かりませんが地図上に位置も表示されませんでしたし、緯度、経度、車速も表示されませんでした。ということで、専用ビュアーの開発をお願いしたいです。あとは、耐久性がどうかですね。

初めての場所に旅行にいくため購入！届いたらコンパクトと軽さにびっくりしました。シガーソケットから電源をとりモバイルバッテリーを搭載しているわけではないのでエンジンを切ると録画が終了すると思います。レンズ側に緑色のランプがあり録画している時は点滅しているので作動しているのがわかると思います。SDカードは付属していないので使用する際には購入が必要になります。

先日接触事故をおこしたのですが、自分のpcでも見ることが出来なかっただけでなく、保険会社でも解析できないとの回答がありました。

電源入れて、１分しないで電源落ちます。何度試しても、同じです。取り付けの手間の時間が無駄でした。
