This is an expensive piece of equipment for your RV or camper, but very necessary. Amazon’s price is almost half of what it was at the RV dealer. Our very first time out, the unit saved us from potential damage twice. We plugged it into the power base, and it wouldn’t allow us to connect our camper because it detected an open ground. We called the maintenance guy and he replaced the outlet and the breaker. Later that evening, a storm came in, and the power to our campsite shut off. I checked the surge protector and it told me that it shut us down temporarily because of a power spike. 2 minutes later we were up and running with no damage to our electronics or electrical systems. That’s exactly what it is supposed to do! Fantastic purchase!

Needed product for RV - costly but might save you a lot of money in the future if power surge or bad outlet.We had a power surge at campsite in New York at 3:00 AM in morning while camping. Surge protector saved our unit. Electric power shut off and gave us the appropriate code. We only had surge protector for 3 months. Company replaced surge protector under warranty. Well worth the money.

This surger protector is a must have. We do not camp without it.

This offers great peace of mind. We’ve had a few instances where it's warned of low voltage (hot summer days, many TVs plugged in at the park all running ACs full blast). Knowing the voltage was very low (which can damage appliances and the AC units), we chose to move spots until we found one with an acceptable voltage range.

Bigger than I thought it would be and seems very well built. Took a couple trys to figure out how to pair it with the register inside the motorhome but all is working well. I consider this to be a "must have" item to protect the electronics in anyone's RV.

Thunderstorm come through campground was struck by lightning. Tripped breakers it saved my RV.

Great product. Easy to use and install. A cool feature that I really like is that the display shows whether or not you have a voltage problem on either of the legs. That sometimes happens at campgrounds when the breakers go bad. I haven’t had any issues with it and it provides peace of mind that my investment is protected.

I would recommend this to anyone who has a camper or Rv. This device will save you from costly hook ups to poor electrical outlets or poor wiring. We’ll worth every cent!
