The his pattern is easy to follow just got a little confusing around the waist as I am a novice

I made up the shorter version trouser, which I would make slightly longer next time I think. The pattern says that it has a side-zipper, but in fact, the zip is in the back. I didn't really like that, so I did a side-zipper with just one right-hand side pocket. I will make the waist a little lower next time too, by leaving out the waistband. An enjoyable make.

Habe diesen Schnitt für leichte Sommerhosen gesucht und gefunden.Ich musste erst einmal die Übersetzung ins deutsche leisten, dadurch kenne ich jetzt aber den Schnitt sehr genau. Man braucht zusätzlich für Variation A Vlieseline als Verstärkung für den Bund und einen Reißverschluss von 18 cm und einen Haken mit Öse.Ich habe mir eine sehr kurze Probehose aus billigen undehnbaren Stoff genäht, dabei kam folgendes heraus: Ich trage eigentlich Größe 40 (z.B.Hosen von Tchibo). Bei diesem Model musste ich US Größe 16 wählen, das entspricht XL oder Gr.42.Vielleicht erspart euch das etwas Arbeit;)Ich werde anstatt den RV in die H.M. zu nähen, ihn lieber an die Seite machen und dafür nur eine Seitentasche nähen.Ich habe mir dafür einen Stoff aus 75% leinen und 25% Baumwolle ausgesucht.

I haven’t used this pattern yet— just looked at the cutting layout and directions. I’ve also read reviews of it on several sites. The actual pattern has the zipper in the center back, but I plan to put it on my left side and omit the left pocket. I prefer Vogue, Butterick and Burda patterns.
