This pillow is the epitome of a really good down pillow. I know, but you don’t always get enough real down in a pillow and the goose or duck feathers they finish the fill with are course and come through even the thickest of covers. I think I got this pillow on Monday and and I’m still in love with it. I’m a side sleeper and it does not give this old lady a stiff neck! I like it so well I ordered another yesterday. I like to alternate them every month or two so they’ll last. I prefer about 50/50 down to feather ratio, Sometimes you do get what you pay for.

I bought cheaper pillows from this manufacturer a couple of years ago with a higher feather to down ratio, and they held up great but lost some feathers and volume over time. I was interested in trying pillows with a higher down to feather ratio so recently upgraded to these and in my opinion they are perfect. I thought they might be a bit too hard at first, but after sleeping on them for a couple of weeks I have changed my mind. The firmness is just right to provide neck support but not firm enough to be uncomfortable (I've tried pillows in the past that were so hard they actually made my head hurt). I'm a side and back sleeper and I can manipulate the fill in these to work perfectly for both positions. I haven't added pillow protectors, but so far I haven't had any feathers poke out like I did with the other ones. Overall they are nice quality, perfect fullness and firmness for me, and a great value for the $$.

Very comfortable pillow. I didn’t give it a 5 because it flattens out quite a bit so may not be as comfortable to some depending on your sleeping position.

This is the best pillow I’ve ever owned and I’ve bought lots of expensive feather pillows. I would highly recommend and would definitely buy again.

I have to return this king sized pillow. It’s too hard, weighs a ton.....well....actually not - but it’s more than 3 pounds, it’s noisy with crinkling sounds, and I question the 50/50% down/feathers composition. It’s certainly not 50/50 by weight and it seems a though the volume of feathers is way more than the fluffy down. That said, if you’re looking for a very substantial but still malleable pillow, you might find this one to be just what you need. Seems to be well constructed, but for me, not comfortable.

I initially left a poor review- that's what I get for not waiting to decide if I like a product or not. Here's my revised version:My father needed a pillow so I gave him one of these to try. He is extremely picky and very hard to please. Needless to say that I was shocked when he said that it was probably the best pillow he had ever had. Since he and my mother both sleep on their sides, I gave them the set and they love them. For side and back sleepers 5 stars. If you sleep on your stomach, I recommend passing on this set.

Well made pillow but it is not a firm pillow as advertized. If you push all the feather together it works great except that it's half the size.
