Not recommended for garage or outdoor use
This clearly stated on the description that it was good for indoor and outdoor. You have to either be standing right under it or right beside it to feel the heat. I don’t see how this can be an outdoor/garage heater. I mounted it in my garage and it’s pretty much worthless there. I’m sure it would be great in an unfinished basement type setting, but definitely not out in a garage or out on a patio!

CHEAP HEATER! Don’t waste your money and time
The heater didn’t last not even 1 month of outdoor use, the parts fall apart specially the cheap plastic sides, the carbon filament just didn’t work again, so it’s cheap device, do not expect much from it NOT RECOMMENDED if you are looking for a reliable long lasting winter heater!

Not waterproof
Heat output is good. But it is NOT waterproof as the listing says. Poor attention to detail by the seller and Amazon.

Heats you not the air
We got this for our covered porch to supplement a propane heater and hopefully extend our outdoor season a bit. We got to test it the other night when it was 32 degrees out and we had friends over for a bbq. Kept us warmer than the propane heater as it heats objects, not the air. Yes, it was cold but this little heater provided warm relief. Highly recommend.
