Perfect for sharing your screen.
Used it to share my tablet to our screen in our Van. Works well and great for sharing videos from the tablet. Tired of watching the same movie over and over or switching them out movie after movie.

I set it up, connected it to my wifi, downloaded the app -- all to find out it is only compatible with ios v11 and my phone is currently ios v14. Couldn't ever bring up the option to cast or mirror my screen. Guess the technology is already out of date, which makes me think you'd need a new one soon anyway. Am in the process of returning to Amazon.

Worked great until it did not. This style/type of device has very cheap cables that fail after a few months.

working but having flaws
it is working. I confirmed it mirrors well. But It couldn't connect to 5G and get hot so fast. Also, it need external USB power source not using power from HDMI. My google home found it but couldn't connect it. and once it changes the device name, my google home cannot even find it. I will return it.
