The infinity quest
Another Marvel comics movie. For the uninitiated:This brings together lots of subplots that have been going on in these films since they began. So you might be a bit stumped as to what's going on if you've not seen all of them. And you do need to keep watching it to the very end of the end credits. For those who have seen it already, or somehow didn't manage to get to it at the cinema:There's no point in me discussing the film, because you will have your own opinion, or will be seeing it regardless. So let's just review the dvd itself. Review the product. As per the amazon guidelines on reviewing. The disc begins with a generic trailer/ad for Marvel studios. Which can be skipped via the next button on the dvd remote.Language and subtitle options are:Languages: English, German, Turkish.Subtitles: English, Danish, Finnish, German, Icelandic, Norwegian, Swedish, Turkish. It's also English audio captioned. And as with all these Marvel movies on dvd for a while now, there are no extras on the disc whatsoever. And that's all the information that can be given about this product. Hope it helps.

Astonishingly Perfect
It’s a kinda unwritten rule in movies, and especially comic book movies, that having three bad guys is too many. Films like Spider-Man three have suffered for their over-stuffing of origins, introductions and trying to pay off too many threads in one film. That Infinity War manages to have 50+ characters, and yet manage to give everybody a purpose, a chance to shine, and a payoff, is absolutely mind blowing. Thanos is one of the deepest, and bizarrely most sympathetic evil guys in cinema history, and at times you almost agree that he’s doing the right thing...Then you remember he could do literally anything else to get the same result, and suddenly he’s The Mad Titan again.See it on the biggest tv you can, with the best sound you can, with as many friends as you can.And then see it again.Stunning.In my opinion the greatest MCU movie yet.

A triumph!!!
Wow, I'm kind of lost for words after that, I think I need to watch it again to fully process my thoughts. Avengers Infinity war is so action packed and fast paced that you barely get a second to take everything in, there is so much going on in every scene and then it ends on such a devastating note, it left me in shock.I thought they did a fantastic job of covering all that they did, whilst managing to keep it focused and easy to follow, something DC often fail on. The humour which I love in the Marvel films still has a place and the many characters still keep their individual style and none get lost in the mix.I can't wait for the next film, it's truly a real high point in Marvel's films, the film they've been building up to for 10 years and I have a feeling the second part might even surpass it.

Absolutely brilliant film
I love most of the Marvel Universe films and this is definitely one of the best. Although the first of two films (Avengers 4 being the follow-up) it is a brilliant film/story in it's own right. With the majority of the old and newer Avengers involved in the fight against their greatest enemy yet there is plenty of action and more than a few surprises. The mix of danger and humour is just right (unlike Ragnarok) and the climax will blow you away (unless you've fallen foul of spoilers). I would highly recommend this film and, having bought the 3D version, I will be watching this again more than once.

Marvel epic masterpiece
I very much enjoyed this Marvel film. It was a long time in the build up to it seeing that Thanos first appeared in the 2012 Avengers movie. In 4K ultra HD the picture is sharp and detailed and the sound rich and deep. The various characters create great humour off each other and the movie works them in harmoniously, considering the egos on display. Thanos is soulfully played by Josh Brolin. He brings depth and menace to the villain. The children of Thanos make for good supporting villains, especially Ebony Maw and Cull Obsidian. The two and a half hours go by quickly and there is a well balanced mix of dialogue and action. Looking forward to the sequel.

SUPERB ENTERTAINMENT
The Avengers are joined by many an ally in the fight against evil when a threat that affects all emerges in the shape of Thanos played by Josh Brolin, a intergalactic despot who with the help of his lieutenants aims to collect all six infinity stones to enhance his power and inflict his will on all.The Avengers which include Iron Man (Robert Downey jnr) Thor (Chris Hemsworth) Spider Man (Tom Holland) The Hulk (Mark Ruffalo) and The Black Widow (Scarlett Johannson) are joined by Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) along with The Black Panther (Chadwick Boseman) as well as Star Lord (Chris Pratt) and his illustrious crew and Vision (Paul Bettany) these just a few of the many who join the fight. All these and more will risk their lives to save the very existence of all they hold dear.Surely they will prevail ?This an action-packed 'sci-fi' spectacle which embraces wall-to-wall stunning visual-effects....this film in my opinion far and away the most exciting must-see Marvel presentation to date.

Outstanding film and picture quality on 4K UHD Blu-ray
The film:An outstanding culmination of the last ten years of Marvel films. It brings genuine dread, humour and suspense throughout. The opening scene with Thor, Loki and Hulk is pivotal, setting the tone for the rest of the film and creating a high stakes drama. I can't quite believe how they managed to pull off such a brilliant film with so many characters and so much history, but they couldn't have done it any better. The 4K UHD disc:The best way to see the film - brilliant clarity and colours viewed on a LG OLED TV. That said, the difference from the standard HD Blu-ray is not that great, so I am not sure the extra £12 (at time of review) is worth it. But for such a great film, you want the best picture if you can justify it.
