These are SO soft and cozy. I bought them as a Christmas gift for my boyfriend but I’ve worn them a few times and they’re super nice. The only minor issue is that they shrunk a little in the wash, but not so much they were unwearable, just a little shorter in the ankles. They will make your feet sweaty if you wear them in shoes, but perfect for in a cold house!

I liked these socks. They are nice and thick and warm for winters walking around the house or when you need something warm for a roomy boot outside. They seem to wash and dry well. keep in mind they are a tall sock. Not quite a crew length but not ankle socks, somewhere in between so don't expect to pull them up to your calf or anything. They go just a bit higher than ankle.

Yes, these wool "crew" socks are thick, comfortable ... and warm enough. However, in my opinion, these are the shortest "crew" socks I've ever purchased. For me, these are sized length-wise somewhere between a traditional crew sock and a short ankle sock. I will keep them, but for me, they are about 2-3 inches too short. Maybe good for summer hiking, but the short length is not something I'd want to wear in the colder, wetter, Winter months... especially with tall Snow Boots. Maybe it's just these particular socks, and perhaps the other kinds of socks sold by this seller are different, but that's another story...

Roomy, stretchy, warm and comfy. I wear these all the time. I love wool socks and these fill the bill. They are very thick and great for boots. I wear mine with my crocks. Love ‘em

These are the heavy duty stockings our Gran use to knit us for the cold months. We use to joke about the steel wool from heavy metal sheep that had to be knitted with two crow bars since there were so indestructible. They served as slippers, hand-warmers or serviceable weapons with the introduction of a billiards ball, half a brick or hand full of coins. I buy three pair every two to three years and they are perfect in my snow boots.

I'm a reasonably tall woman with size 10 feet. I like to go barefoot in the summer, but when it get chilly, I like warm socks to wear around the house. Women's One Size Fits All socks, as well as panti hose, is a myth. It should read One Size Fits a Lot of Women, but if you wear larger shoes than size 9, forget it. So I buy men's socks. I've developed somewhat of a heart condition and elastic around the tops of socks makes my feet swell. I could not tell from the blurbs and photos that these, otherwise lovely socks, had elastic to keep them up. These socks make grooves in my legs. That is not acceptable. I do not know how well they wash. They are soft and warm.

These socks feel really wonderful. They combine the right amount of wool, the right amount of stretch and the right amount of synthetic to give them durability. However... One typically needs wool socks in times that are cold. That being the case, I felt the need to write a review to point out a product improvement that needs to be addressed. These socks simply need to be about 3 or 4 in longer. Why? In cold weather unless you are wearing tights for underwear. The gap between the bottom of your pants and the top of your shoe is where this sock also keeps you warm. Also, if you are wearing traditional pajamas and you are sleeping, they tend to ride up. So what happens is that a section of your ankles are exposed to cold. I found myself waking up and couldn't figure out why I was waking up until I figured out that a section of my ankles were cold. I don't need a refund or anything like that, I just want this message to be received by the manufacturer so they make a longer version that sits higher up the calf than these. So the three star review reflects the fact that these socks were meant to keep my feet warm and because they are too short they do not fully accomplish that task successfully.

These are excellent socks, very happy. Hard wearing and warm.
