I purchased these after seeing a "Project Farm" review on youtube. These and others were compared against much more expensive ratchets. These performed very nicely. Good tool/value for the money! IMO

I came across these from a Project Farm review video. I grew up using about the crappiest 3/8"-drive ratchets imaginable, pretty much my whole life. For a while I would occasionally get to use a set of Craftsmans that my brother had, but when I was out on my own I was kind of left in the breeze and had to pick and choose my new tools. A while back I was running into the consistent issue of never being able to find my 3/8"-drive ratchet, so after I saw how well these performed on that review video, I ponied up and bought a full set of new ones. I don't regret it one bit. I'm just a hobbyist, not a professional mechanic. I do a good amount of my own car maintenance, and I work on a couple motorcycles for fun. These do well for that. In fact, they're actually some of the better ratchets I've ever worked with. A complete joy to wrench with compared to most of the junk I've used previously. My one complaint is that there is some wobble/play at the anvil. I don't think it's a big deal, really, and it's not very noticeable in use -- but it would make it better. I supposed some very thin shims or washers could be installed to take up that space, but they are fine as-is. For the price of the set I don't think there's any comparison.

Good quality and price.

Ratchets come individualy wrap in plastic in one shipping card board box. The 3/8 ratchet head is slimmer then my 25 year old 3/8 craftman rachet head. This is subjective but the ratchets are not heavy or uncomfortable to hold. I am comparing the weight to geardrive heavy duty ratchets which i found to be uncomfortably heavy when working with the tool. The sata ratchets have a smooth finish and feel very stout when in use. The ratchet mechanisms are smooth and feel good quality. The only draw back is when wearing gloves the quick release button is a little hard to push as compared to a gloveless hand. I paid $32 for the set of ratchets and for the cost they are worth it for me. I am not a professional mechanic but a do it your selfer.

I did quite a bit of research, and these affordable ratchets were highly rated. They have replaced all the many different Craftsman ratchets that I have used for the past 40+ years

Perfectly functional. No big worries about theft. I haven't broken one yet.

These ratchets are very good. One of their best features is that they are thin. The really best thing I like is the release button is flat, it doesn’t stick out like most do. Will buy second set. Great ratchets, no problems at all so far.
