The part with the brand name (label) is soft enough to scuff up and not damage the weapons sights when placing it in. The housing is wide enough for wider slides, hard to tell but my G17 has plenty of room on both sides. Was really hoping it came with double sided (3M preferred) but it does bring the hardware for mounting. The magnet could be a bit stronger, but for now it will do just fine on small bumps off roading.

Glad I decided to go with this product. Tried a different brand and the magnet didn’t hold the fully loaded gun when going over bumps in my car. However, this mount holds the gun firmly while also not taking excessive force on releasing it when needed. Took a little more force than I expected to fully chamber the round but the mounting screws held in place well and showed no signs of coming out of the underside of my dash.

A must have. My boss and I both have this in our office under our desks. He does not keep his pistol chambered and likes the fact that he can rack a round quickly with this holder.

Bought this for my Glock 48. Turns out it holds my Ruger Single 6. I drive through a very rough dirt road to get to work, and I was taking a chance with my revolver because how heavy it is. But it hasn’t dropped yet. So far, definitely worth it.

My 9mm auto works the slide perfectly and easily, but smaller ones like a slender .380 can slip through if you are not paying attention…holds doth pistols securely, as well my J frame revolvers.

This was simple to install and holds great. There were many products with varying prices. I suspect they are all similar. This one works just great.
