Ironton High-Velocity Floor Fan - 20in. 1/5 HP, 120 Volts, 4,590 CFM

I now have three of these fans - they really do a great job! I checked tons of reviews, before making this purchase, and finally settled on this one, taking a chance. And glad I did! I am home much more during the pandemic, and wanted to keep the house cool. This does the job!-GREAT air flow. Strong enough to be an industrial fan, and yet perfect in my house. ---I put one in the bedroom, one on the treadmill room, and one in the hallway (to help the A/C flowing better between rooms).-Large area of coverage.-Noise is not bad at all, especially for a powerful fan like this one!-Solidly built.-Pricing is surprisingly low, when it is on sale!-Took it out of the box, popped the bottom metal piece on (took 10 seconds to do that), turned it on, worked perfectly.I am a very picky customer, and rarely give great reviews like this, but this fan is an A+ fan. I have it for over a month now (got the first two from Amazon, which really is from Northern Tool, -- and I got the 3rd one from Northern Tool direct), and they are working flawlessly. Get it = you will be very happy you did!

Full disclosure - I just received this yesterday so I cannot speak to it's longevity.Oh "Ironton High-Velocity Floor Fan - 20in. 1/5 HP, 120 Volts, 4,590 CFM" where have you been all my life? I researched Amazon for the perfect fan, not settling for whatever is on the front page but digging in deep. After about 30 minutes of research I came across this fan which had a 5 star average review from all reviewers. Being impressed with the reviews I ordered this amazing machinery and anxiously awaited it's arrival yesterday. Once it arrived I brought it inside and opened the box. Inside the box I discovered another box, which contained this fan. I slowly removed the fan from the box and unwrapped it. As I removed the plastic cover I was taken aback by the fan's sleek black sheen and it's urban modernist look. I attached the fan to it's stand and tested out the adjustments. You can face the fan toward the ground, straight up in the air, or anywhere in between. Oh the joy! I brought the fan into my room and plugged it in. Oh the gentle but respectable noise this fan hums. Oh the smooth clean whirlwind of air that it generates. I began to relax into a state of Zen as soon as I powered it up. This is the most powerful indoor fan I have ever encountered. This is the Holy Grail of fans. I think I'll take another.

Although a tad noisy, it does blow air very strongly and lays flat without wobbling. I'm hoping for some longevity and hope that it lasts for longer than a year. Nowadays it seems most fans are powered by same poorly manufactured engines with very short lifespans.

Really nice. A bit noisy but works great. Very simple to set up. But collects high amounts of dust quickly. Clean often for optimal efficincy.Puts out a lot of air. Using it to cool off my bedroom on these very hot days. I recommed it I am very pleased with my purchase.Would recommend highly.

There is nothing that to dislike about this fan. If you want a fan that is durable and has a high cfm(cubic feet per Min.), this is the fan. The fan is well built no plastic parts. I have been running it on selection 1 for 3 days before I tried speed 3 and it blew everything off my desk, Awesome. You wont be disappointed with this fan and the price is well worth it. BUY IT.

The media could not be loaded.  The ironton 20inch High velocity fan is an amazing fan with ridiculous personal small room circulations which will make you feel cold on the lowest setting. It's is by far the most most powerful fan I have encountered for it's price. It's loud but understanding how much airflow it produced. The only issue is the blade wasn't aligned because of the bolt that wasn't installed properly infront of the blade holder. It's a simple fix of loosening the bolt by a little bit with rubber seal, or replacing the whole screw nut infront with a new one that doesn't turn oval. You can see in the pic of this origianl unbalance screw nut, so if you encounter a tremble while running the fan, it may be the fan nut infront of the blade that wasn't carefully checked. Good fan with balanced blade but the screw nut must be examined before usage for longevity.

This floor fan can move quite a lot of air around, and with little noise. Assembly is very quick, as there is not much to put together. I'd recommend it to anyone who has the need to create a breeze in a specific area. I love it.

I purchased 2 fans. One of the fans has an issue with the plug. One must shake the plug or tap it on the floor to get the fan to work. I would have returned it but it is very heavy.
