Purse Pouch Car Purse Storage (Original As Seen on TV)

As Seen On TV stuff is always a huge overpriced joke to me; however I'm often stuck putting my bag in the back. I got this at a REALLY steep discount due to credit card points I accrued, so I figured, "why the hell not?" I'm using this in a 2014 Kia Soul.The Breakdown:- It feels cheap (and rightly so because I literally paid 4 and a half bucks for it)- The carabiners used to attach the top to the headrest posts are far too small and do not clip, but this was easily solved by wrapping the strap around the post and clipping the biners to the strap- It has a pocket. (yay)- It works. (most important feature)- It came with detailed instructions (which gave me a good chuckle because who the hell needs instructions for this?)- Those priceless instructions came with a link to a video so people who didn't understand the instructions could WATCH how to install and use it (omg srsly? LOL)The Bottom Line:It said it would do the thing. It successfully does the thing. Amazon's 4-star selection is described as "I like it." And really that's how I feel about it. I couldn't be any less enthusiastic, but I like it. It does the thing. Hooray.

I revised my review from 3 stars to 4 after hearing from the person I purchased from as to how to use this product as a hammock. For my car, I can't reach my purse when I use this pouch as a hammock for a medium to large size purses. So my advise is to consider how far back you will have to reach in order to use it for bigger bags, hammock-style, if your intent was to be able to reach things inside a purse. The purse pictured on the box of the product made it seem that a bigger purse could fit inside; I have found that only my very smallest crossbody purse fits inside. It is certainly better than nothing, and does seem to have been constructed well. Also, it's a great barrier, keeping my large dog in the back seat when he would much prefer trying to help me drive, lol.

I tend to go for medium sized purses and satches. My purse DEFINITELY won't fit in here. I honestly don't even bother trying. The only kind of purse it would fit, is probably an "armpit" shoulder bag, or small crossbody. Really, I just resorted to using it for odds and ends in my car, so I don't overfill my glovebox. I use it for an umbrella, brush, lint remover... *shrug* it still helps me organize.And now I just put my purse on top of that middle compartment. this pouch just offers a stop so that my purse doesn't fly into the backseat of my car. Which is fine, unless someone is riding shotgun with me. Then it feels bulky and overcrowded again.Update: the seller has contacted me, insisting that my purses should fit, once I adjusted the STRAPS. So I took the following pictures. Please note. The adjustable straps are to secure the pouch between the headrests. This does NOTHING to change the seamed dimensions of the pouch. the pouch also tapers at the bottom, minimizing the amount of purses that may comfortably fit. It is made out of a stiff, mesh material to give structure, and the pouch itself does not stretch. My purse's length is slightly longer than an 8x11 folder...which is exactly what I pictured in my 3rd photo. The only way my purse would fit, is if I ridiculously placed it sideways.

Where has this thing been all my life?!? That's how awesome this purse pouch is!! I drive a small 2 door Ford car--& I love it, but there is NEVER a place for me to put my purse (which is half of my own body size & weight...and no, that doesn't give u permission to ask how much I weigh, thankyouverymuch! As if.).With this simple, but heartily made "hammock", I can finally push my jumbo purse all the way to the back of my console, until there is no more give. My purse is secure!Then, in the actual pouch, I can put my phone, my tablet, a book to read in the carpool line (if I happened to have kids & did that sort of thing), etc. Y'all, this thing is great!Get one, you won't regret it & will love the convenience, extra space it creates, & will be able to avoid all those awkward conversation starters with anyone who gets into your front seat: "Do you mind putting this down at your feet on the floorboard?" Or the even worse, "Would you HOLD this monstrosity I call a purse for me, until we reach our destination?" Someone could sue u if ur not careful with that thing. It could break legs, it's so heavy!So, the solution? One of these awesome purse pouch hammock thingies. U can thank me later for saving all that money from lawsuits that will never just "drop into your lap" (heh), or for the back surgery you'd eventually have to get from bending over to pick up the contents of your kitchen sink of a purse, which always fall out as soon as u place it on the passenger side floor. I took off 1 star because of the smell. The strong odor of the material it's made from still lingers after more than a month. Nasty stuff! I took off a second star because of the size. I don't consider myself a large purse carrier, and my bag still wouldn't fit. You can check measurements until the cows come home. Until you try to fit your bag with all your stuff in it, inside this storage net, you can't tell if it'll fit or not. My summer purse is smaller so I'm still hopeful as I think this product is a great idea. Right now I have my purse sitting on top of the console and the net is keeping it from sliding off - so still useful, I guess. Regarding the toggle that goes inside the console; if you pull it tight enough to keep the storage net taught against the back of the console, it'll keep the console from closing all the way. You have to leave it slightly loose, leaving a gap at the bottom of the net. Total bummer.

Exactly as described. However it is difficult to put the bag inside or to take anything from it

I really LOVE this item!!!! it's great to put a few things in but what I love about it most is, I always put my purse on the armrest between the seats - and it always fell over onto the back floor BUT now it doesn't - it stays put!!!!

This is a great invention and works perfectly! My wife keeps gloves in it in the Winter and her purse sides back off the center console into this pouch (so it's easy to put her purse in there and it never falls back onto the floor dumping the contents).

Not as good as claimed. Too small to hold a standard sized lady's purse
