Bought a few boxes of these and felt comfortable doing so based off of reviews. That said when they arrived 2 of the boxes were duds and never worked. My husband had already thrown out the boxes so I couldn’t even return them. Buyer beware

They are nice and bright however, I needed them to be A single string of lights. These were two separate strands of lights. I ended up using them for something else.

They are very pretty but they don't twinkle like some poeple said that theirs were doing. Maybe they had a different brand. These are also sold at Walmart. They barely fit my long apartment balcony so if you have a small balcony get the one pack instead of the large pack. I got the large pack that has 300 lgts, if you have a large balcony the 300 lgts should work fine but you may need an additional small pack.

These lights are sturdy, beautiful , weather proof and also help keep our feathered friends warm. In November we already have several feet ofSnow, so my bird buddies depend heavily on bird feeders and water from the fountains I keep running in my ponds. I keep these lights around my front porch not just for festive decorations, but also because they are a warm perch to keep wild birds comfortable while waiting in line for the feeders. Last year two bird couples actually made nests next to my lights and raised babies. I put up bird houses in the same area this year, and the birds are loving it. Yesterday early morning I looked out the window and on one light string perched 8 chickadees, 2 meadow larks, and a large wood pecker. The woodpeckers really seem to favor the warm perch for eating suet. My other Christmas lights in the yard are solar powered, but I will always place strands of these warm lights to welcome our precious mountain birds to my yard.

Used these indoors to light a nook in my apartment.Occasionally, a bulb goes out and they're in series so it takes out a section of the string. You have to find the one and replace it with a spare (that comes in the pack), a bit annoying but that's expected with these lights.

This review is for the 300 icicle-style lights (warm white, white string). I ordered this product and opened the box (it looked like it had been pre-opened) to discover that 2 sections of the strand wouldn't light up. I tried checking for any loosely-seated bulbs, but found none, though one section did sometimes flicker on and off when I shook it. Then I reboxed them (but haven't shipped them yet) and asked Amazon to send me another identical box. Again a box arrived, today, again looking pre-opened, and again a section will not light up, despite me carefully checking to see that each bulb was properly seated. I'm not sure why I would get 2 dud boxes in a row from Sylvania--a lighting company! I have cancelled the order and will try a different manufacturer. :(

I got these lights for my back patio railing for the holiday season. I used twist ties to secure the lights. They make my patio so beautiful that I keep my blinds open at night just to enjoy them. Very pleased with the purchase.

Be careful when ordering this product. Although the lights work fine and look nice, the box contents may not be as described. I ordered two boxes of lights each with two strings with an ~11' (10.83' to be exact) lighted run. I received two identical boxes. Each said it contained exactly what I ordered, and one did. However, the other contained two light strings with a ~6' lighted run, which was very disappointing, when I was looking for (and had paid for) almost double that.
