Excellent for dry throats
Once you get the hang of using these (you stick the melts to your palate) they work well, stay in place and last for around four or five hours. I have a severely dry mouth and they make it much more moist and comfortable. They taste ok too. The only negative is the cost, they are very expensive.

Best so far
Hi all dry mouth sufferers! I have tried quite a few different lozenges and so far these are the best and most successful I have tried. First I will start with the negatives..these are quite large to begin with so can be a bit uncomfortable if you have a small mouth, and these do not last even an hour until they are dissolved.. however they do stick easily to the gum, and resolve a dry mouth for a good part of the day. All in all these are expensive for the amount you get, but it is hard to find good products where a dry mouth is concerned! I would definitely recommend.

it works for me
Works ok and lasts all night. Does not produce as much saliva as some, but they don't last all night.

Dry mouth? Buy these now.
I was alerted to these by a Speech and Language Therapist who told me that they are come well recommended by patients. I have to say that she is quite correct and that they REALLY do work. Don't expect a Niagara Falls of saliva...these generate, for me at least, a comfortable moist mouth when using them. I use these as I have no saliva after radiotherapy and they are just the job as they provide a longer effect than a quick spray of saliva replacement. I do not use them overnight due to a medical condition so I can't comment on their nocturnal effectiveness. Daytime use? Top marks.

A total game-changer for CPAP users!
I have been using a CPAP machine for years, and for the longest time, I struggled with a recurring issue: congestion would force me to open my mouth while sleeping, leading to severe dry mouth. This would wake me up constantly, completely defeating the purpose of using the CPAP in the first place . My pulmonologist recommended XyliMelts, and they have been an absolute lifesaver. You stick the melt to your gum (between your lip and gum), and it releases a light, sweet mint flavor . It encourages me to keep my mouth closed and breathe through my nose, which is exactly what I’m supposed to be doing with my CPAP . While the package says they last four to five hours, I find that using just one per night keeps my mouth moist for the entire duration of my sleep . Before I started using these, I was waking up multiple times a night to drink water or just deal with the discomfort. Now, I don't wake up nearly as much, and the quality of my rest has improved significantly. I’ve tried other products like Biotene, but I couldn't use them—the taste was nasty and unpleasant to me . XyliMelts are much more pleasant, and I’ve since set up a subscription because I use them every single night. If you are a CPAP user struggling with dry mouth, I highly recommend giving these a try.

Life changing for dry-mouthers at night.
If you take a med that causes dry mouth, or if you have dry mouth at night, this product is life changing and excellent. Just pop it into your mouth up top on the gum between teeth and cheek, and the little brown side is like a gentle suction cup and sits there most of the night and gentle causes your mouth to salivate gently and lightly. This is SO much better than ones you take that are like blue cough drops- don't work. If you have night-time dry mouth problems, this is your solution. If you sleep mostly on one side, put it on the other side and let the saliva gently flow. Lessens morning bad breath a tad too.
