Sturdier than I thought it was going to be, just what I needed for my project

Just as advertised. Nice, non slip base and amble flange to allow for the wall coverings to overlap. Entire bottom is supported by a piece of Styrofoam. Not saying this thing would withstand dropping something very heavy on it, but it is after all a plastic shower pan. Under normal circumstances this should support a few hundred pound load just fine. Size is just a tad under 24 by 40. Dimensions were accurate to product description and schematic. I bought this for my RV where space is at a premium and 24 inches wide is just about as narrow as you want to go. I will make the top section wider to allow for more elbow room. For just standing for a shower it's more than adequate. There is three inches of space under the front apron to the floor and 5 inches to the top. The three inch part seems excessive to me but I will be trimming the front edge anyway. The front edge has room for a 2x material under/behind it to provide for plenty of support. Will probably rip down a two-by-six as it's not set up for any standard dimensional lumber. Still a bit confused by the excessive space in the front and would have preferred the manufacturer extend this further and allowed for trimming as opposed to having fill in the space with something else. Not a deal breaker at all just a bit confusing as to what the engineers had in mind. 3 inches is a lot of space between the subfloor and finished floor. Overall, I am happy and would certainly buy again. One star removed for the strange apron configuration.

The shower drain is not a standard size, but I made it work with a 2” floor drain and a Fernco connector. There is probably a better way. This is the smallest shower that would be useable, but it fit where I needed it. I think it is meant for an RV. I don’t know if it is more lightweight than other shower pans, and it did not break, so I guess it is fine. I did install it successfully.

How hard is it to give a good product description?Here is you’re picture, please use it! So anyone els buying this product doesn’t wast as much time as some of us.. this is a LEFT DRAIN PAN. Not a right drain as the picture they use clearly indicates. Not anywhere in item description does it mention it. What a poor experience, I hope they read their reviews and finally fix this issue.

LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT IT. EASY INSTALL, LOOKS VERY FACTORY INSTALLED USED WITH PLASTIC PANELS FROM HOME DEPOT TO MAKE 24" X 40" WET SHOWER IN A 2008 MERCEDES 170 EXT. LIKE MUCH BETTER THAN A PREVIOUS MERCEDES WE HAD. RECEIVED TWO DAYS LATE DUE TO FLOODING IN TEXAS NOT PROBLEM OF SHIPPER. GOOD PACKING AND NO DAMAGE. NON SKID BASE. QUALITY SEEMS VERY GOOD VERY SATISFIED. WOULD BUY AGAIN
