BALDR Wireless Indoor Outdoor Thermometer Weather Station Remote Sensor, V1

I bought and returned two weather stations from two very popular big brand names! Was very frustrated with the fact you couldn't see the full color screens unless you were standing close to the unit and looking straight on. Both units cost more than the Baldr brand. I watched reviews of some weather stations on social media and decided on Baldr brand. Glad I did. Easy to set-up and use. Fairly accurate temperature and weather prediction. The full color HD LED screen is outstanding. Like looking at a Full HD LED television or cell phone. Viewable at all angles! The best display screen I've ever seen on a weather station. I can read it from a distance better than any other brand! It does take several days to gather information in order to start accurately predicting your weather condition as indicated in the instructions. I noticed one glitch, but not a deal breaker! The unit is set-up for 3 outdoor sensors, one is included. The unit cycles through all 3 sensors showing them one by one on the screen, not all at the same time (1,2 then 3)! If you only use one outdoor sensor like me, the unit scans for other sensors and then automatically re-connects to the one sensor you are using. Note, if one sensor used the screen will continuously show temperature for that one sensor on the screen while scanning for other sensors. Which is nice, so you always have it on the screen. It cycles through this around every minute. This is not clearly explained in the manual and apparently can't be set to only one sensor to keep it from scanning for others. It is a normal condition and doesn't affect performance in any way. You will only notice the little antenna looking sensor connected emblem flash while scanning then going solid on when connected to sensor. I had returned one unit thinking it might be defective, and my second one acts the same way. The unit works very well and predicts weather accurately. I like having the unit as a back-up alarm clock too! The alarm clock feature is handy to have and works well. Alarm is pleasant and not annoying. Overall, very pleased with my purchase! You can't find a better Full HD LED screen out there. Hope Baldr comes out with larger units with this high-quality Full HD display screen! It honestly looks outstanding! Will buy Baldr brand again!

Love this weather station. I had a standard unit but it was a nuisance. You could not read unless it was in a bright light. This is constantly lit (it has a plug and batteries) and easy to see. See the photo. Only reason you can see the other is I have bright lights on. Had a little trouble setting up, but that’s me.

I recently bought a BALDR Color Display Digital Wireless Indoor/Outdoor Weather Station from Amazon and there's a lot of good, but some of the set up is not cut and dry. Without getting into fine details you have to follow instructions to the tea. It's very touchy when setting up the unit and it takes time after you set it up for everything to start working and reading correctly, but once it's done it's a fantastic unit and very good at predicting the weather. In other words if your wanting a plug and play unit forget it. If your serious about checking out this unit the best thing to do is read the reviews.

Have owned two other major brands and this one is the best so far. Clear bright display, well made not cheap looking, accurate and strong signal over 75 foot away. Bought one to see how it went and ended up buying two more to replace competitors units. Note that other reviews say the display won't stay on and you have to push the top button. This is only true if you don't use the AC adapter. With the adapter the display stays on and can be seen from across the room.

We tried 3 other wireless weather stations before finding this BALDR - finally, the search has ended! Love the EASY-TO-SEE DISPLAY: with its bright, vivid, and easily visible colored digital display that I can see all the way across my kitchen. I can adjust it's features from the front, too. It's functions are easy to read and accurate. Love the animated rain or snow or the bright sunshine rays . . . We've hung it, rather than using the stand feature. Well done!

The indoor unit is great. It uses barometric pressure and other gauges to predict the local weather as accurately as possible, however the outdoor sensor is not waterproof. It rains, it stops working, dries out, works again. 4 years it's been like this. I put a sandwich bag around it but it does no good. I haven't replaced it because it dries out so fast but for Pete's sake. A weather sensor that isn't weather proof? Seriously? Anyways, it's easy to set up and use. It's accurate. It's cheap. I have to say after 4 years of this it's actually still working so it's definitely durable. It has more features than I'll ever use. We live in Texas so sunlight definitely throws the temp off, even if it's just shining on the other side of the fence it hangs on, but I think that's just because Texas sub is no joke. Probably any temp sensor would be affected the same way.

Bought this as a gift for my father. The display is great (super bright during all times of day) since the backlight stays on all of the time. (you need to keep it plugged in for the constant backlight) Batteries are for backup when the power goes out. It can be seen at any angle and from other rooms. It took a few hours for the temperature to become accurate, but that is normal for digital thermometers. He is extremely happy with this product so far.

Overall the Weather Station Clock is very good, there is only one thing I don't like. It has a darken feature for night time, however it doesn't get dark that much, it's not even worth using that feature. It was easy to install, and I like that it can use either batteries or an electric plug and it does have foot plug for it to stay upright.
