It did the trick after a failed attempt I followed my instinct and Hey Presto !! it did the trick.
I found that a few of the instructions could do with a few extra lines after my first attempt failed, for the second attempt I added my instinct and it worked perfectly.Thanks for the help, I'm so happy to be back in touch with everyone and all my security systems etc are running perfectly.

It works....
I deleted all the data on my macbook hard drive including the os :( I was trying to to a fresh install to pass the macbook from daughter to son - I mucked it up.It would not recover an OS from Apple using control R . So I bought this and bingo have a clean install working macbook.

Very easy to install and brought life back to my dead devices.
Thankyou very much this has just brought my macbook pro and my mac mini back to life I can't thank you enough. The handy little guid that was put in the parcel made this very easy to install a fresh OS on both my devices. Thanks again guys from a forever grateful new mac user.

this item worked like a treat, when mac book was factory reset it was asking for a password to access untitled disk. quick reinstall using this and its fixed no more passwords being asked for. 10/10 and it turned up the very next day :)

Works perfectly
Lifesaver! A friend corrupted their Mac Mini. Didn't ever use time machine, and needed a fresh install. Popped this in. Turned Mac on. Held the options key. Then, clicked install. Simple and works exactly as it needed to! Bonus: the stick is 16gb so I now have a spare 16gb USB stick. Nice. Thanks!!
