DC Poster Portfolio: Stanley "Artgerm" Lau Vol. 2

Would consider framing about 1/3 of the posters in this book. Figured I might feel that way about 2 or 3 when I ordered the book so it was a pleasant surprise. If I liked all of the characters, I would probably frame even more. Mostly just a Catwoman / Harley Quinn / Wonder Woman fan though .... and, amusingly enough, NOT that big a fan of Batman (Ex. The pic with Catwoman and Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy would have been AWESOME .... if it didn't have Batman behind them - lol). Can't beat the size / quality / selection combination for the price though. Definitely worth 4 or 5 stars (IMO).

Love the high quality prints, all for a low price but I'm a bit disappointed with the mera print, it was in Vol 1 and it's also in Vol 2. Feel like they could have put a different print of some of Artgerm's other work. Feels a bit like a waste of a print but overall I'm happy with the prints.

Almost perfect as the first edition/volume collecting Artgerm's lovely covers. My only complaint is repeating the cover of Mera here. They could just have included other DC covers or even a non-cover art. It was lazy/negligent on the part of the editor/publisher.

The portfolio had a lot of the comic covers that are more expensive to obtain. This portfolio is even better because these are large posters without the comic text. The only issue is trying to find affordable frames for the size of the poster.

These are some high quality prints but there’s one missing! It seems they put in two Animated Series Catwoman prints instead. Update: Amazon replaced the book within two days with a correctly put together version. The quality is fantastic and the customer service was wonderful!

great artwork. paper quality is good, but it doesn't look like they have any quality control in the print process. multiple prints have blemishes. some have tiny white dots in them, two of them have huge print problems in the characters' face. check the picture I uploaded of the supergirl one. I didn't know she has a huge mole... for an art book this is not acceptable. I'm getting a replacement to see if it improves.

High stars for the phenominal artwork by Stanley Lau. But one star off of Amazon's handing. Amazon workers are overworked but nonetheless you're paying for slightly damage goods which are obvious since this is a display item for your wall.

great artist portfolio but came with dents and the inside got dented bad but a great book if you look pass the dents.

I guess the 1st volume of Stanley 'Artgerm' Lau's poster portfolio sold well (I bought one) since they made another. The poster portfolios are high quality prints that could easily be framed and put on a wall. They're gorgeous, and Lau's art which is very often a heightened reality pinup style suits being wall art quite nicely. This selection is good as well with the usual suspects (Catwoman, Batgirl, Supergirl) and a few others that needed the poster treatment (Raven, Starfire) included as well. There is even one with Flash/Reverse Flash which is a bit of a surprise since he seems to specialize mostly in women. My fave is the Gotham City Sirens one for sure. One caveat if you have the first one. The Mera is reprinted here. Not sure why.

Love this poster portfolio but its mostly repeated designs except a few.

E' una raccolta di venti poster che ritraggono principalmente alcune supereroine ed alcune supercattive dell'universo DC. Ogni poster raffigura una sola figura femminile, eccetto: - tre che includono anche Batman come soggetto; - una che include Superman con Supergirl; - due con soli soggetti maschili. Le immagini sono molto belle e di grandi dimensioni e la stampa è ottima. Purtroppo, se avete acquistato anche il volume 1, vi ritroverete il poster di Mera come doppione (ragione delle quattro stelle). Consigliatissimo. Consegna nei tempi. Imballaggio ottimo.
