Mercer Culinary 8-Piece Garnishing Kit,Black

I bought this as a gift for my dad. We both work in an industrial kitchen. We both also know that people eat with presentation, smell and taste. He’s told me about how much he’s wanted a garnish kit so I got him one for his birthday. It’s been used very frequently and has not failed to do it job. I would reccomend to buy this as a gift to a cook/chef or just for garnish use at home.

The Mercer M40000 Garnishing Tool Kit I purchased was for my son who is a student at Le Cordon Bleu in Austin, TX. When they arrived he was very pleased and his roommates were jealous. I bought this because I’ve always wanted one and I offered to make fruit & veg platters for my boyfriend’s brother’s wedding. Tools were what I expected and I was excited to use them. Although I’ve only used them one time I do plan on using them again both at home and at work

It is a very great chef bag, with plenty of pockets for knives and tools. Haven't had an issue with it. Planning on getting a larger bag because I ran out of space.

It's not a bad set, but the only item I tried so far was the apple corer, and it didn't work all that well, it was rather short. All of the handles looked fairly cheap plasticy rater then the high quality Mercer lines.
