Laneige Two-Tone Lip Bar 2g #2 Red Blossom

All in all disappointing, it's easier and prettier to build up an ombre lip with a brush. The lipstick is a bit weird to apply because of the angle the stick is cut at. It is a diagonal, not a triangular cut of color like the stock photos show. This means that one side will have the color apply a bit higher than the other, and once you do an opposite swipe to even it out, there is too much color on the lip to have that nice ombre look. The red is not pure, it is more coral-colored and the white is so sheer it does not lighten the color of my natural lip even a bit. I think it does dry you out a bit, but I'm a fan of gloss/petroleum jelly over lipstick so I really can't say for the long term effect. Glad/sorry I used up my points and not real money on this. I'll have to give it away or mix with another product to finish using it up.

I bought this lipstick because of Descendants of the Sun. If you have seen that K-drama, then you know that this is the lipstick Song Hye Kyo was using in the show. I have to admit, I was a bit uncomfortable purchasing a $20 lipstick. I mean, colors vary on monitors and I wouldn't fully know if it will blend well with my skin tone (NC35 in MAC). But I love the drama so much, and Laneige picked the perfect model for their brand (everything looks really good on Song Hye Kyo) so I decided to take the plunge and buy it.And ... I ended up loving the product! It is very moisturizing on the lips, and it gives you that perfect gradient effect (which is a very popular beauty trend in East Asia) that is always frustrating to make. The packaging is easy to use and looks very unique as well. However, applying the lipstick on the crevices of your lips could be very tedious and it might take practice to get used to. This is due to the shape of the lipstick bullet which is square, instead of a rounded-sharp edge.If you have a light/medium skin tone w/ a warm undertone, try the colors Red Maxi and Red Blossom.

Love the color. My only reservation is the fact that the stick is very small. If you have large lips this won't be a one-swipe. You'll have to angle the product to get the darker color on your inner lip and the lighter on your outer lip. I was hoping for an application that is easier than manually combining two lipsticks, and I'd say this product mostly fulfills that need. Overall the actual color/quality of the lipstick is great.

I love love love these!!Very pretty.But unless you have paper white lips then the color won't show up much or at all on your lips 😞 which is very sad!

To the lady who said she was disappointed, you obviously didn't look at the pictures before you bought it. It is supposed to be a square, it's not used already.I love this lipstick. I bought the blurred milk and it's very moisturizing. It is difficult to use but I will get better at it as i practice. I love the shine it gives.

The color is awesome. It turns out beautifully. And I received the item about 1 week after ordering even though they estimated 1 month to deliver it :)My order is the Red Blossom :) Very satisfied <3

Please do not buy, if you want to i gave it for free. I bought 3 and none work well. Its cause lips very dry and color not come close of what the modles had. I wrote to the this is what the answer. color lighter than I expected. more like neon pink. I bought #6, can't really tell its two-tone once applied. maybe it's the color contrast, it makes my teeth appear not as white as usual.
