Hirt's Red Prayer Plant - 2 Pack - Maranta - House Plant - 3" Pots

See the photos how they arrived first day. Could not be more healthy and better packed. They soon grew even more beautiful and spread out. I put them in their own pot immediately. There were no flaws on the leaves or problems. Tape over pot dirt so it could not scatter and it was moist. This sat in a parcel locker in a blizzard for two days in South Dakota until I could get to it, and somewhere in a truck over the weekend I guess but it was so well packed that was how it looked and only got better. I received two and they appeared beautiful. I always wait a one week before transplanting so that the plants are acclimated to new home (temperature and lighting). During that time one plant seemed to be dying. While attempting to transplant it , I learned that it wasn’t a plant.It was two CUTTINGS in one pot. The one cutting had tiny hair sized roots and is now transplanted and appears fine.The other was completely rootless. It wasn’t a dried up or dying root, it was....completely rootless. A cutting. I’ve put it into some room temperature water and hoping that it might not be two late for it to root. If I’d known that I had one plant and two cuttings I would have placed them in water immediately and given this a five star review.UPDATE:18 days later and my cutting has roots. I’ll transplant her into soil in a few more weeks. The others are thriving. I’ve been misting which they seem to love . Very satisfiedUpdate againOne year later and I’ve now propagated twice and so actually have eight GORGEOUS plantsA bit of advice would e to mist very lightly each dayI’ve done that ad they seem to love it

Plants arrived alive and perfect. I love these plants and will be buying more in the future.

Nice but the leaves on mine are sort of falling over, not up like the pictures. Had a couple of weeks now and seems healthy so hopefully will continue to grow ok.

As you can see, the first one is blooming. The 2nd one was almost dead when I got it, you can see it on the other side of the Money tree in the red pot. Elm dirt really works. It saved this half dead plant. So in the next picture you can see the leaves are beautiful and strong. I don't know if this had anything to do with the haft dead plant, but, when I unwrapped it and sat it on my table, a snail can crawling out one of the drainage hole, I killed it,. When I reported it there was another on on the main root. I sent him to Heaven to.

Before this, I had never considered purchasing plants online, but after watching several unboxings on YouTube I decided to give it a try. After all, 2 prayer plants for only 4.99, as long as they weren't totally dead, it was a win. I placed the order on 6/19/20, and it arrived on 6/22/20. (1 star). When I opened the package there was bubble wrap along the sides and tucked in between so that the plants would not be tossed around during transit (1 star) and the pots were saran wrapped and taped to keep dirt from spilling and the plants in the pots (1 star). But the smiles came when I examined the plants. They were sooo healthy and happy looking. The first one had 7 leaves and the other had 5 leaves with one unfurling. The potting medium was moist and the pots were adequate enough for me not to have to repot before the end of the summer (2 more stars). I love my new boobies!!!I had actually written a review the same day that I received the plants, but somehow it floated out into cyberspace. It's okay though, because it gave me the chance to let you know that I have ordered 11 more plants from Hirt's since I was so pleased with them. Will update this review when they arrive (with pics)...As promised, I am showing my 11 new boobies that I received from Hirt's. Beautiful. I am not disappointed at all. Will be placing another order really soon!!!

I have had several prayer plants in the past that didn’t make it. I am DETERMINED to figure them out and to have them grow.I have done my research but for some reason I just can’t keep them alive.When I came across these I was happy that they were selling two. I figured that surely one would survive. Right??They arrived in pretty good shape, very healthy and well packaged. The quality was great for the price. I’ve had these for maybe 3 weeks to a month and they are still hanging in there. One actually has a new off shoot.Overall these are a good buy. Especially for two. I would definitely recommend. 👍🏾
