They have a cute little shape that is also conducive to wrapping little ribbon around them without the ribbon from sliding off. These are great for decorative gifts and not so much for canning because there is no button. I plan to fill them with fresh rosemary from our garden and give them out to my staff.There is silicone on the edge of the top where it lines up with the jar lip to keep it from leaking. I tested it and they do not leak. They also come with a ton of little plastic spoons. I could see taping the spoon to the lid if you’re giving away honey or something similar.These are so cute, my husband even commented on it. Definitely recommend.

I like these jars quite a bit and would buy them again. The only problem is that although the jars and bands work well, the lids only seal about 75% of the time. Since lids have to be replaced after one use anyway, that's not a big deal -- but, be prepared with extra lids if you're actually using these for canning. BTW, both Kerr and Ball lids fit these jars perfectly.

Okay I think I left a previous review saying they were great but I’m definitely recanting that. They are really cute and I love the shape for cosmetic products but 4 of them were broken on arrival. I have a small skincare business and eventhough I wrap these in bubble wrap and Additional packaging, more than half of my customers have received broken jars upon arrival. They’ve end up costing me more than they’re worth. Really upsetting.

I used these mini mason jars to organize my spices in a drawer in my kitchen. They came with white round sticker labels for the lids and a choice of either the canning two-piece lid or a regular lid.The lids are also a mixture of silver toned and gold toned. I like the ease of using them and the organized feel of my drawer. Before it was just these varied bottles laying on their side in a drawer sliding around.

You have to understand these are not canning jars. They are storage jars and will suffice for that purpose. The lids are subpart as the coating on the inside is spotty. The rings are nice and thick. They will fit some other brands of actual canning jars and not others. I have found at least 3 rims with a defect out of this shipment so far out of 40 used. This is fi e for my purposes. Do Not Use For Canning!

Used for hot-fill canning, no hot bath. Out of 22 jars, all flat lids seemed to suction. Trashed one jar because a glass shard speared my thumb during a rim turn. Canning is time-sensitive, your rims need to go on without a fuss. 12 rims were beyond fussy - in the trash they went, after being compared to a well-used regular-mouth jar. Of the 20 one-piece rims, only 7 silver ones twist on right. All jars have slightly rough seams at the rim - had this been the only problem, I'd have never written. The high gloss white stickers only take a ball-point pen. 4 stars for cuteness and ensemble, 1 for usability. Too bad.

Just plan accordingly and buy some fresh lids to go with. They are compatible with standard small mouth mason jars. The lids that come with these don't have enough give to see if they've sealed or not. With Ball or Kerr lids they flex so you can tell if they've "pinged" after you process. These lids don't have that flex in them.That said, every one of the jars I've used so far has sealed with my Ball lids just fine. The rings that come with them work well. And everyone I've gifted anything to has asked where I got those jars! They came really well packaged, too, so there's no breakage. I'll ding one star for the crappy lids, but I won't hesitate to order more of these when I run out. My favorite new Jelly Jars!

I make body butter. When I opened the box everything seemed normal. In the process of filling up the jars I came to the middle row. Guess what the middle row of “jars” was filled with......lids. By that time I realized this I had already filled up 1 row of jars. I would like to get the rest of my jars please and thank you.!
