AIRAID 400-999 Modular Intake Tube

I own a 2014 f150 5.0 stx supercab, I slapped this airaid intake on to my factory air box, with and non-synthetic air filter and definitely noticed a better throttle response. I also noticed a deeper louder idle from the exhaust note as well. I strongly advise in investing into one of these if your looking for a little more hp and exhaust notes. I give this a solid 5 out 5.

Wanted to keep the factory air box for the better cold air ducting, in my opinion, so this was a no brainer. This in combination of a k&n filter took a little bit of the lag out of the go fast pedal and added some tone for my exhaust.

Picked up a little low end torque and Borla exhaust system sounds much better with intake growl.

This is a relatively easy way to upgrade your air intake path. Coupled with a permanent high-flow air filter in the factory air filter box, you should get a little better fuel mileage and somewhat more power. You might notice a bit more engine noise when accelerating. My 2014 F150, 5.0 is quiet when cruising along but growls when I give the gas pedal a nudge, as when passing another vehicle or climbing a mountain pass. It is too soon to know any actual MPG or power gains, but I'm optimistic. .

This is for my 2012 Ford f-150 5.0L. Easy to install and better looking than the factory intake tube.

I should have left my factory intake tube with the resonators. This tube makes a horrible vacuum sound and bogs acceleration when you hit the gas. It only sort of works at higher speeds and only if you slam the pedal down. If you just barely accelerate the sound is down right embarrassing, very upsetting.

Did not come with air filter as advertised in description.

My truck runs a lot better then the stock tube and better fuel mileage and horsepower but I also have a banks tuner on mine

easy install, sounds great, and got to keep the stock airbox and filter.
